Double Danish Delight As Bendtner Bangs A Brace [Ratings]

An inspired Nicklas Bendtner ended Arsenal’s goal drought as bottom-of-the-table West Brom were swept aside 3-1

The Great Dane’s scored after only 4mins when his left-foot shot  gave Arsenal their first goal in five league games. Chris Brunt equalised with a free-kick that went though a poor Arsenal wall.

Kolo Toure restored Arsenal’s lead, heading in Andrey Arshavin’s free-kick.

Bendtner made it 3-1 with a crisp volley and he later hit the foot of the post as Arsenal dominated and boosted their Champions League hopes.

Andrey Arshavin again had an impressive night and came close to scoring his first goal for Arsenal.

    Ewan,

At least try and be positive, this is exactly what we need!

Fans believing and being positive and hopefully it can translate over to the disgraceful newcomers to emirates who dont know how good we’ve got it!

Up the Gunners, well played Super-Nic, anyone who understands football knows the quality this guy has….what a prospect

Maybe fellow Arsenal fans can lay off Bendtner for a bit, don’t mint if he was a senior player, but the guy is 21….. for god’s sake if him support.

Ewan, which ratings do you disagree with? Most of the ratings are average or just above- do you think Bendtner does not deserve his 9? No one is getting carried away- we played well and it was a good result, still lots to improve on but dont be such a kill joy.

Good performance by the team, eboue was a disgrace, but you could see his disapointment when he was subbed. Bendtner was autstanding today.

agree with gunnersmate, everyone forgets how young bendtner is – he was only 21 in January and he has now scored 11 goals this season. Does anyone know how many starts thats from?
