  1. martin says:

i hope its true, just like eduardo he needs to move on…….and we need fresh blood

  2. gooner-ro says:

    ridiculous don’t believe it :)

  3. Dilshan says:

I can not see that happening, if that was the plan his involvement with the first team would have been far more limited and as he happens to be a good friend of Cesc it will be unwise at the best

  4. Stilly says:

Hope he goes. Hes spent most of his Arsenal career laid up eating sausages.

  5. Davi says:

I love rosicky, but realistically it would be a good move for both parties. I dont think it would happen, but Id like to see him go with honda replacing him, who I see as basically a young version with a greater goalscoring ability.
Tomas is a world class talent who has never really been able to shine because of injury. But he always gives 100% on the pitch, so, like eduardo, it would still be a bit sad to see him leave.

  6. Alekey says:

Hope they are just shere rumors

  7. Erichero says:

He’s going to be an important player for Arsenal this season. But then again, that’s what I told everyone about Eduardo.

For me, Rosicky was man of the match in the first half against Celtic – everything he did was quality, and no messing around and wastefulness like Wilshere and Frimpong.

What I really want from Rosicky this season is his long range shooting. Will Wenger allow it?

  8. Merse-10 says:

    No.

  9. jesus casanova says:

he was a great player 2-3 years ago, i still think he’s a lot to offer but it wouldn’t break my heart if he left, as long as we replace him with eden hazard or mezut ozil ( either would be great ) . i still think a deal will be done for per mertesacker.

  10. Revo says:

Absolutely shocking, anonymous and indirect v celtic, never looking a threat, never dangerous. always static, slowing down our moves, and he is exactly the reason y the goals dried up during the run in last season.

We need players who take players on and actually makes a difference. walcott and vela far more effective. heres hoping its true.

btw you kop a lot of stick on this blog, quite a lot unwarrented, congratulations if the rumour is true. No one else picked up on it..

  11. Hashim says:

I dont believe this. Wenger is not so stupid to replace half the team with the future of Cesc still in the air. If he has someone lined up to replace Rosicky, (Afellay, Giovinco, Ozil) only then can this move happen. I still believe that Tomas has still a lot to offer.

  12. martin says:

apparently….galatasaray made a bid of 4.2 million pounds…..we’re demanding 5 million pounds….rosicky him self said he was interested in joining galatasaray…. negotiations will continue on thursday

  13. TopGunPires says:

Having worked so hard to get him fit, it’d be a strange decision and like everyone else has said any replacement would need to be proven quality. Maybe Arsene is thinking about a wideman and using Nasri in the central area more often.

One other thing to consider though, he’s Cesc’s best mate at Arsenal…..

  14. admin says:

Martin, A player swap deal with Cetin Servet :)

  15. rob says:

thats great news for wenger Eduardo and rosicky out and when fab4,vp10 and bent52 come back they wel all be like singings. wenger wel say we had 2 out but 3 back in now i belive we can win anything. stupid frog man.

  16. astrah says:

    Elano out, Rosicky in…
    scoutgs.com says; Rosicky joins Galatasaray…
    scoutgs.com is a dependable source ;)

  17. Daz says:

BIG f***king mistake if we let him go!!!!

  18. Davi says:

Daz – Most people know how good he is, but how can you be confident he’ll play many games this year? He has never had a good season at arsenal where he has contributed what he is capable of. Enough is enough.
This league is tough for anyone physically, particularly if you play for arsenal imo, and at 29, with his record, how can we be confident he’ll ever manage a full season?
It’s possibly true that if we didnt replace him, it would be a mistake, but wilshere is starting to look amazing, like scholes or even fabregas, but with a bit of pace! And nasri looks to be getting ready for a monster season, let’s hope so anyway. I think we could stand to lose rosicky.
Id probably rather theo was leaving than rosicky tbh, but either way it would probably benefit the squad.

  19. Davi says:

Plus it would probably be good for rosicky to go to a league where he might not have to play at 100mph all the time, or face up to ridiculous challenges every week. This could benefit both parties

  20. david says:

I agree its time to let Tommy go. He has had a few injuries and wont play many games. If he had not of caught these injuries it would of been a different situation. If he does go lets wish him the best of luck because he has been such a great pro!

I also agree with replacing him for Honda or Ozil.

  21. Daz says:

Davi – he is one of the few experienced players at the club and I think he would have a good season this year after he’s had a full season back from injury (apart from a few niggles) He has had a fairly good pre-season in my opinion. I wouldn’t have as much of a problem with him leaving if he was replaced but he won’t be! We need a good balance of experienced players to complement the younger players!

  22. Davi says:

Daz – maybe you’re right about that. I have great confidence that nasri and/or wilshere at least will step up and cement themselves as top players, the equivalent of rosicky.. in the way fabregas is still young but no one would want him out the side for lack of experience.
I’d only be really concerned if theo was just given even more opportunities to prove himself, despite failing time-after-time before, rather than the chances going to vela or wilshere.

  23. d says:

he was a decent player a few years ago, but he’s just too injury prone. he’s one of the highest paid players also, earning something like 60,000 per week. sell him fast. bite galatasary’s arm off for the cash!

  24. Sabri says:

suggestion as an exchange with Rosicky:

    Sabri Sabrioglu
    Coming, coming for youuuu
    Nobody can take the joy
    Freekick is my showww

    Ask me to Elanooo
    He doesn’t know futeboloooo

    Sabri Sarioglu
    Coming, coming for you

    Who is Rosicky?
    Did you see Sabriiiii?

    Who gave the falsoe?
    Nuri, Nuri Alcoooo

    Sabri Sarioglu
    Coming, coming for you

    :D

(Greetings to our ex-rival Arsenal and regards to Arsene Wenger (who have always lost against Gala in his career)

  25. lovearse says:

one of our key player! unless the injury problem.

  26. Alessandro says:

Scoutgs.com dont give any details but they say that rosicky and ledesma is ready to join gala after their qualification match this evening. İf galatasaray dont continue in UEFAleague non of these players Will join.

  27. Arsenal Till I Die says:

Is Servet Çetin really part of the deal or is that just paper talk or Gooner wishful thinking?

  28. Fevzi Goonah says:

Tomas has been our ‘sick-note’ for real. We paid a lot of money or him and then also renewed his contract….we should try and get some value out of him…potential is there….then again with Jackie boy in the wings maybe we should try and cash in and let Jack have a run this year.
Cim Bom are not exactly minted so not sure we are even going to get a lot of money for him.

  29. Fevzi Goonah says:

We are not seriously interested in Servet are we. Rule out anymore silverware for next year too if this is the standard of player we are looking at – bring back Senderos all is forgiven :) )

  30. admin says:

Sabri Sarioglu is really good player.I hope we will transfer him

  31. gooner turk says:

i am gooner but my turkish team galatasaray and i hope this rumours are not false.because i dont think so rosicky have something to give for arsenal.he lost hes joy after all injuries.and galatasaray is good step up team for him.there is lots of almost finish careers step up with galatasaray. keweel keita baros etc…so it will be good move for 3 sides.

  32. Ade says:

We should buy Arda Turan for Rosicky…

  33. jonathan says:

rosicky 5m £ going to Galatasaray….and transfer friday

  34. jonathan says:

    cetin servet deal rosicky……….

  35. dani says:

i dont want him in arsenal..
he isnt a good player now..

  36. Kevin says:

Shocking that you as arsenal fans want rid of one of our best players. Tomas Rosicky is amazing, an intense player. Now that we are in October and have a feel for how are players are doing, dont you now feel a bit silly saying Rosicky should go? I think you probably do, every time he has been on the pitch he has shown pure class and how killer his balls are. Now if Arshavin took the chances Rosicky gave him then his assist tally would be the best in the prem at the moment.
He is also a fantastic stand in captain because he can really be the heartbeat of the Arsenal team when he plays behind the striker.
