[Ratings] Same SH#T!!! But we have £56m in the bank

Chelsea 2 – 0 Arsenal

Same old sh#t!!! Loads of pretty football, passing passing passing, miss chances and then BANG! Drogba pops up and scores.

HOW MANY TIMES ARE WE GOING TO REPEAT THIS!!..But yet our manager cant address this?

2 games, 2 defeats now.. But who cares? We make a profit….In Arsene we rust!!

Ratings

Fabianski : 8/10 (Nothing he could do with the goals! Maybe some decent saves and came for balls into the box very well)
Sagna : 6/10 ( Came across and helped out the CBs well, But the goal came from his side and Cole got the better of him again)
Koscielny : 5/10 (Looked weak vs Drogba and missed a great chance to put us 1-0 up after 2mins )
Squillaci : 5/10  ( VERY poor game. Almost gave Anelka a gift)
Clichy : 6/10 ( Loads of pace going forward, but then he gets confused what to do next)
Diaby : 8/10 (Good game and worked hard, But needs to give the simple ball)
Nasri : 8/10 (Played well, and maybe could have done better with a few chances)
Song : 6/10 (Slow and wasteful with his passing, Won the ball back a few times before giving it right back)
Wilshere : 9/10 ( Our best player today. Worked very hard and used the ball very well)
Arshavin : 7/10 ( Tested Cech with 2 great shoots but gave the ball away 2 many times)
Chamakh : 5/10 ( Never looked like scoring. Started to piss me off with the way he is going down in the box looking for pens all the time)

Subs

Rosicky : 7/10 ( Made things happen and always willing to test the keeper)
(Vela & Emmanuel-Thomas) Not enuff time to make an impact

and Wengker each year 6mill more therefore we cant pay higher wages. Unbelieveable cunt this frenchie is!!

  2. ewan says:

Its amazing how many people still “trust” Wenger. This is a football team. Football teams aim to win trophies. Wenger aims to make money and no trophies is fine. Wake up, fans!

  3. VI14 says:

Ok, a bit upset but have to agree your opinions. Maybe after a 6-0 over West Ham we forget this night. And 2020 we just say after losing Chelsea that we have a young side…

  4. frank says:

Bet u guys couldn’t wait for this defeat!

We BOSSED the game, were missing our ENTIRE 1st team spine – Vermaelen/Fab/RVP – and outplayed them on their turf. We lost. Totally against the run of play, happens. The chavs did NOTHING in the 2nd half and were hoofing the ball away in panic.

Arsenal4ever – if u call wenger a cunt it makes you the biggest cunt on the planet. and a wanker! Twat! U ain’t a gooner so fuck off somewhere else.

  5. Asmo says:

Always amuses me this place, keep it up lads.

  6. Th says:

What really pissed me off is that our players especially Koscielny laughing and joking with Drogba at the end, should he not be feeling guilty that he wasted our best chance and could of done better for the first goal?am I being unreasonable?

  7. pma says:

Hip reaction, that’s what it feels like. Your ratings should reflect the title or vice versa, which they don’t.
The team did very well – Chelsea simply ARE that good, Drogba IS that good. It’s the frustration of supporting a team with the expectation that that team will win, I feel, make people right such stupid posts and comments. If that is so, maybe Arsenal isn’t a team for you. What’s the point of being upset? “Passion”? Stupidity, rather. Enjoy what the team did, they played well, gave their best but it wasn’t enough against an excellent Chelsea. This score doesn’t determine who will end top at the end. The team did very, very well.

  8. wankerwenger says:

Lets face it – Arsenal are just not good enough! They won’t even qualify for the Champions League this season – let alone ,make any sort of impression in the BPL. What excuse does Wenger have for a draw against Sunderland and a loss to WBA?? We lost 4 points in those games because of goalkeeping errors and a lack of effort. Wenger could have afforded to buy some real quality before the season – but was too stubborn to listen to the cries of fans all over the world. The question arises if we fans could be better managers than this frog! I reckon I could. Its not rocket science – just common footballing sense. For the amount of money they get paid – they are overrated. I would do the job for half Wenger’s pay – and I would guarantee wins against the likes of Sunderland and WBA. No pay if I don’t perform. I think all managers should be made to forfeit their wage for that week if they fail to win or at least draw their games.

  9. Shaun says:

Diaby’s and Wilshere’s ratings are a joke. Jack was the best midfielder on the pitch today, but 9 out of 10? Come on I think that’s pushing it a bit.

  10. Am says:

    Wilshire is way overmarked

  11. les says:

so losing to the champions 2 0 is awful……did u see us last weekend? we came out with half our team missing…..f*** off an support spu**

  12. jacob says:

Yeah.. it’s really amazing how many fans still trust Wenger and this board of ours. We need Peter Risdale and David O’Leary to work the same magic they did for Leeds United. We need Rafa to come in spend our 56m just like he did for Liverpool! Are you clowns serious?

I really wish that Arsene Wenger would up sticks and leave sometimes because this website and others like it would most probably spontaneously combust… and that would surely make the world a better place. Pity that some Arsenal fans like the muppet who calls himself “Arsenal4ever” are not only stupid but xenophobic neanderthals too. frenchie?? why don’t crawl back under your rock slimeball!

Oh we lost away to Chelsea having outplayed them for long stretches of the match with a team missing too many stars to name… its a Tragedy!!

    Clowns.

  13. BigL says:

To be honest I never expected to win but that doesn’t hide my disappointment.
Yeah we had a lot of injuries, but we always have a lot of injuries. Yeah we played well, but we always play well. We lost because they are a better side.

We play pretty football but we are never going to win anything with Wenger. Any intelligent fan knows it. The trouble is we have so many unambitious fans who think that football is about accounting or believing everything Wenger says we’ll never go anywhere.

A couple of games with 60 thousand people singing Wenger is a wanker would give him a much needed kick up the arse. But there is as much chance as that happening as there is of us doing the double.

Still early days yet, but fighting for 4th is our only ambition.

  14. alex says:

Well, you get what you pay for. Cheap CB who play cheap. Koscielny and Squillaci lost all duels with Drogba and Anelka, and even Malouda. Didn’t win one tackle, and positionaly were poorly placed. Koscielny gifted Anelka a clear goal scoring opportunity, which the frenchman failed to convert bacause of some sorf of mental block he has playing agains Arsenal. Anyway, clumsy and extremely costly by Koscielny. The franch team Lorient who sold the polish frenchman are laughing all the way to the bank with Arsenals £10M. Squillaci, as well as Koscielny didn’t even challance the blues for the long ball anymore, or any ball for that matter. Both off pace and marking was terrible. Song didn’t exactly helped. His positioning is the worst ever. Noone told him how to be a holding midfielder appearently. He runs all over the place leaving tons of space behind. Clichy was his usual self. Poor shooting and disicion making, lost the ball in defence, and left loads of space behind. As did Sagna when Cole crossed for Drogbas goal, which Squillaci failed to block. And going forward, the only good thing was Nasri and Chamach. The moroccan was a constant threat in tha air, unfortunaltely for him, the only player who can cross a ball to him is Rosicky since both Clichy and Sagna can’t cross at all. Wilshere didn’t do much wrong, nor did he do much of notice. Was muscled off the ball a lot, but not his fault he was left as a holding midfielder after Diaby constantly surged forward. Abou didn’t do much of notice either. Arshavin has to realize by now that he is playing like crap. I mean seriously, didn’t make a good pass all game, ost the ball every single time he got it, and never tracked back to recover it. The boss must after all those poor games from the russian seriosly soon realize that some time on the bench will do the russian a lot of good, giving a chance to Vela or another 5 year old Wenger spent millions on (all the while City get players like Silva). Still, the history repeats itself. When you have centerbacks with no defencive capabilities whatsoever, you don’t need to think long about why you let in so many goals and drop points. With those two CB’s we are lucky to be getting anywhere near the 4th place.

  15. BO says:

@TH – I totally agree with you mate, would you have seen martin keown, steve bold, tony adams and patrick veira laughing and joking at the end of the match with the enemy who could take the premiership title away from us? No you wouldn’t of. That just tells us arsenal fans that we have no grit and fighting mentality in the squad…and you need that to win titles. Oh dear.

  16. Yozza66 says:

as Arsenal fans you always make me laugh….does anyone not see the reality?we may as well have watched the dvd from the last 4 seasons against Chavski as the end result is always the same….can talk about possesion forever but even the most blinkered Arsenal fan can’t have watched the game and actually thought we looked liked scoring….can have the ball all game but if you do nothing with it it doesn’t matter….good teams let us have the ball knowing we have no penetration n then hit us on the break as Chavski did(for the last 4 seasons)listening to Wenger now….we created chances blar blar blar….same old same old….

  17. Roderwick says:

If Arsene wants to run AFC like a business then that’s fine! but I don’t know of many big businesses that would keep an MD that doesn’t deliver results and I don’t mean just financial, after all isn’t FIVE years to long for one of Europe’s so called ‘super clubs’ to be without a cup as I am sure that Barcelona would have got rid of him years ago. The big problem for AW now is that he is starting to look out of place in the modern game, slightly bereft and with an air of insignificance.

  18. lazylizard says:

maybe, u know. enuf is enuf. how much money does arsenal need to make before its ok to spend? i’m glad we don’t lose money. but if making money is the point, not the soccer, then why i not supporting citibank or AIG?

  19. Pooner says:

  20. Erick says:

The 2 cbs r all shit. Kos n squic r al weaklings who cant stand up physicaly.

  21. silentstan says:

same mix of sensible and stupid posts. some of the ratings are hysterical. JW clearly a favorite. How AA got so high confounds me. We dominated possession but managed only 3 shots on traget. chelsea are a great side, make no bones about that. but we are missing something. and something is of kilter thsi year. quite what songs up to i dont know. AA is lazier each game. diaby continues to be in a team above his level. we simply remain 3-4 top quality players short of a winning side. of course fab, vp, maybe verm could be those but we remain lightweight.
wenger IS the problem. he wont make those strategic decisions to improve because it would be saying his philosophy is wrong

  22. the fabster says:

Oh. Here we go again, the injuries excuse.

Fuck off to everyone who claims we were missing our spine. Chelsea were missing Lampard, what did they do, they put in an 18m pound replacement who they bought for cover.

  23. visionary says:

its only a few dimwitted blogger who trust wenger now and lets face it they have an ulterior motive for doing so,

  24. jj says:

wonder if aresenal4ever racist that called wenger a ‘frenchie cunt’ wouldve called him a black cunt if he was black. guess not. why? because he’s a retarded brainless bigot coward cunt himself thats why.

pooner – why dont u get a girlfriend – or boyfriend – give ur right hand a holiday.

  25. yozza66 says:

    BIGL N Alex,bang on,got it exactly correct

  26. Dan says:

“Bet u guys couldn’t wait for this defeat!”

Its comments like those from the AKB’s that make me laugh, just because we can see the faults in Wenger’s approach that they are so blind to doesn’t mean we wan’t the team to lose, get a grip ffs.

  27. Alex says:

To all you that say we playerd really well, you are right. But there has also been made a point that we allways play well. By that i reckong you mean that we see a lot of the ball and make the opposition work hard to protect their box. That is true, in 90% of arsenal games the gunners are domintaing posession and passing. But is it playing well? Chelsea had fewer chances, but they took them. Arsenal are not clinical or mature enough. Arshavin had 2 of 7 good shots, Nasri had 2 good shots and Chamach headed the ball wide a cople of times, not to mention Koscielnys weird backhead-header over from 1 yard. Playing well is good, I, as much as any other gunners fan, enjoy watching the opposition chasing the ball inbetween our passes. But in the end it’s the goals that win games, not posession or that one stunning team goal you score when you lost 3-1 to manu… And the frustration of the ones calling Wenger a frog is understandable, if he has ambition to win the league, he certainly doesn’t show it in any way. I mean if you support Leeds, playing against Chelsea, you are in no way dissapointed to lose since you are in championchip and have no money, but if you claim to have title aspirations, saying that we lost and it’s ok, is nok ok!! What hurts is lack of effort and comittement. BTW, Chamach’s rating is poor, he has to get more than a 5! Worked hard and was inces from giving us a lead after 23 seconds

  28. Ed says:

Marouane Chamakh is a fuckin flop,Doesnt score when it count’s yet he’ll start every game this season so he’s bound to score against shit team’s and justify his price tag..

  29. Th says:

Who thinks Chamakh is Arsenal class?

  30. alex says:

Chamach certainly does more than Bentner does! Better on the ground and in the air! The only thing is that he dives to much…

  31. indo-gooner says:

As predicted, but the game was really surprising me cause arsenal were playing so well actually. Draw should be fair result but quite happy with that performance though as long as we can get the consistency in the next next next games. Chamakh should improve his killing ability and should try to be more drogba who use his chances no matter how small that chance is. All arsenal players today deserve an applause from the gooners.
Hope arsenal can win all the next games in a row and chelsea will get lose from any teams (who cares whose going to beat chelsea). Cheers..

  32. jacob says:

Fuck off to you dumbass… Lampard is Chelsea’s spine on his own, is he? Fuckwit. Let them play us without Drogba, Terry, Essien and Ashley Cole and let’s see how good they’d be then? we played them away from home and dominated for long stretches… if the same thing happened at the Emirates all manner of clowns, most probably including you, would be on here telling us how lucky we were to win.

How many shots on target did Drogba get… even the one he scored could easily have hit the post and gone wide! The margins are very small in the big games and we just did not get the breaks against a very good side… AWAY FROM HOME!!!

they spent 18million and they made a loss of how much? If we had a balance sheet like Chelsea’s we’d be the property of a bank! If Abramhovic falls under a lorry tomorrow Chelsea are fucked… only an utter idiot would wish such a situation on a club he claims to love… Get a brain

  33. bertie bloggs says:

Diaby 8/10, are you having a larf?
Couldn’t get to the game, had to watch it on sky, so you don’t get a good overall view, but even so, 8/10, you are as deluded as Wenger.

  34. Irish Gooner says:

Get real everyone – we were away to chelski without our best defender, best midfielder and best striker. Plus we missed walcott, whose pace could have really troubled Cole. How would chelski do if they had to go to arsenal without Terry, lamaprd and drogba? Or man u without vidic, Fletcher and Rooney, Liverpool without carragher, gerrard and Torres? I know you guys are upset – did any of you cry? How old are you boys anyway?

  35. Sim says:

Disappointing but suprising how much we bossed the Chavs at their place. We need more finishers but to be honest if we get the foul on Song during the first goal (even Andy Gray said it was) and a stone wall pen when Cech took down Chamakh in the 2nd half the whole game looks different. I know its ‘ifs and buts’ however it is tiring and frustrating to see such important decisions get ignored especially when we dominated so much. The most disappointing thing was the worship of the Blues at the end, how was Drogba Man of the Match!?! Why not Wilshere who made £50 million worth of midfield talent in blue crap themselves everytime he came forward? I thought Kos and Toto looked quite good (apart from letting Anelka through) and Fabianski was awesome. We can win something, maybe not the league but its not all lost yet. Chelsea, Utd and City are all beatable. We just need the other teams in the league to fight as hard against them as they do against us!

  36. Clarky says:

What rubbish. You are so anti Wenger I bet you half wanted to lose so you could wheel out this rubbish. Face it, it was a very even match and there is only one Drogba – he is the only guy on Chelsea’s side who could have scored that first-half chance and Wenger cannot buy him. They were the home team and were on the rack for most of the second half despite Arsenal missing their best striker, midfielder and defender. Grow up. Who do you want in charge. Woy Hodgson? Track record, blah, blah, may soon be available.

  37. BigL says:

    @jacob

    > they spent 18million and they made a loss of how much? If we had a balance sheet like Chelsea’s we’d be the property of a bank! If Abramhovic falls under a lorry tomorrow Chelsea are fucked…

here we go, an AKB banging on about the balance sheet.
Remind me, how many points do you get for a direct debt these days? what about a standing order?

Who gives a crap. winning and 3 points is all that matters.

  38. maulid says:

kozzer had a decent game, its SQ18 who had hard time,& arsenal needs a finisher not a teamplayer in front of goal..chamak is way too unselfish 4 a striker

  39. alex says:

AWAY FROM HOME?!?! What does it matter where we play? We lost to a crappy team who spend most of their time counting how many golas they score in a season on one hand at the Emirates playing like shit! Again, playing well is not enough for a team with title aspirations! The ones that accept this loos also accepts that Arsenal will be somewhere between 4th and 12th place this season!

  40. jacob says:

Give it a rest… Why do you think everyone talks of “home advantage”? That’s the problem with blogs … too many ignorant, unintelligent muppets with a keyboard talking loud and saying nothing. Chelsea are very, very good side built with squillions of pounds… we played very well today, so well in fact that this, the whiney-est of blogs, gave three players an 8 and another one a 9! You haven’t got a clue mate. Liverpool just lost at home to Blackpool having been 2nd 2 seasons ago. If a clowns like you had their way we’d be in Liverpool’s place! Didn’t they spend close to 200m with Rafa in charge? Arsenal will not be outside the top 4 this season… it will be a total shock if we finished 5th. A TOTAL SHOCK. We are on the verge of being a very good side… I just wish some of the moaners will go away and support Chelsea.

  41. alex says:

a total shock to you that is, mr “living in the fairy tale”. Look how small, slow and unwilling to battle our defender are. Arsenals only weapon is attack, take that away, they start leaking goals every 5 minutes. We need someone with Alex’ mentality. He jumps into any duel and any ball regardless of who the other player is. Our CB’s just pull away from challanges…. what kind of defendig is that?!?!?!?!?

  42. jacob says:

BigL… Do you have a point? It’s always the usual empty sloganeering “AKB” Bull crap you get from unintelligent and clueless fans… If Arsene doesn’t know who does? Tell me who knows better… You?? Liverpool are in the bottom 3 having spent over 200m in the last 5 years and they are looking for a buyer! And their former manager is now managing Inter.. maybe he knows better!

no team that has spent less than at least 9 times what Wenger has spent on transfers has ever finished above us… the ones behind us like Spurs, Viulla and even Newcastle have outspent us by a factor 5 or 6. May be your boss gives you a 1/9th of the resources of your work mates and tells to achieve the same goals! AKB indeed! I’m sorry but anyone who uses that acronym is an idiot.

  43. AKB HATER says:

I expected this I wanted change last season im still waiting this season and think i will be until 2014

  44. BigL says:

    @jacob

why would spending some money doom us to be the next Liverpool? No one is demanding that we go out and spend ALL of the £156 million that we have in CASH in our account.

There are lots of decent players out there, we should have invested with quality rather than taken another trip to LIDLs for players.

Two or three players short last season, and still two or three quality players short this season.

  45. jacob says:

Alex … what blinking match did you watch? We conceded 1 goal from open play… 1 goal and you talk about defenders being unwilling to battle. How many times did either Kos or Squillaci win the first or even second ball in the air? You just want to moan at the defenders because nothing you say has any thing to do with the reality of the match. no one pull away from any challenges… not clichy not Wilshere and not any of the CBs and no one wasn’t trying their heart out out there _ you don’t know what you are talking about.

Alex looks good because he has Essien, Obi mikkel and Ramirez just sitting in midfield… put him in a side like ours where midfielders are actually expected to do some attacking and lets see how good he is… some fans always praise the players for other teams and crticise our players… till we sign those players and then they start to criticise the very players they used to praise… it’s old mate … and boring.

  46. jay says:

wtf are u all talking about…..barcelona lost 2-0 to hercules at home does that mean they are not the champions league winning side..huh??????????????? or a crappy teaam..no.clas teams are all clas..some have a couple of bad days…we are having too..look at Man u..given they didnt lose but draws to everton n fulham n den sunderland…so shall we say they will not win the title..remember bros..even Chelshit..lost to wigan last year….b patients.brahs..in one case i support..liverpool fans..18 yr widout a premeir league trophy..n stil they are fierce supporters of their club…yes injuries aint an excuse…yes inexperience aint an excuse..but losing 2-0 to chelshit..at stamford bridge..is that bad???? does that mean we cant win da trophy….remember man Utd won it in 08…well do dis dis year…we are arsenal fans..brahs..show some faith..wenger is da only one who cud hab given us 04 season….n he can do it aagin…..ooh..bt ya as far as the goalkeeping is concerned..im losing patience wid him..sign somone for gods sake..even if it means selling these three..ill luv shay given guarding our post….

  47. alex says:

1 goal is enough to lose points jacob. And I’m not talking about the goal, i’m talking about the challanges. Long balls towards Drogba weren’t even challanged after losing all the first ones, and our CB’s just watched as Drogna chested the ball down and looked for a pass, with no marking! And yes, how often did the french CB’s win second or first ball in the air? once every 15 times? Or did you perhaps think that Arsenal were playing in blue jerseys today?! And I didn’t just critisize the defence, Song also had a part in this. Alex looks good because of Essien and Mikel, but what makes Song unwilling to make Squillaci look like Terry? Dicipline! Just look at statistics. Alex wins more tackles and headers.

  48. jacob says:

BigL how much money would you spend… and who would you get? a player that is much, much better than Diaby, Denilson or song will cost you at least 30m… and if you are not getting someone much, much better what’s the point? Our debt still stands at over 250m, in case you’ve forgotten and our profit is about 56m but most of that came from the sale of the flats at the highbury development… it’s a one-off, the moiney we owe is money we have to pay off no matter what. The club is absolutely correct in being cautious because what happened to Liverpool could very, very easily happen to us.

The issue isn’t just about paying money in transfer fees it is also about what we pay in wages… we cannot afford to splurge money on big names and the splurge even more on big names’ wages… and even that kind of spending will not guarantee us the EPL or Champions League!

I’m sorry but the people who always calling for more spending haven’t got a clue… they imagine that running a football club is like “Championship manager”… it ain’t so.

  49. N4 says:

Same ol shite coming out of your north n south every season boss.

Someone tell Song the wall is to stop the ball, if you turn to the side there is far less chance the ball will hit you and thus stay out of the net.

  50. vonhedis says:

This is the reality today. We can´t beat Chelsea away without our first eleven. Are there any team in the premiere league who can do that? I don´t think so. We played well today, a hell of a lot better than last weekend, but lacked the killerinstinct. Of course you get disappointed with the result. We could have at least gotten a draw out of it but it´s not over yet. Come on you gooners!!

Speak Your Mind
