Would You Sell Van Persie & Sign Rooney?

Sponsored post….

Ever fancied yourself as being the Arsenal Manager?…

Ask yourself this, Would you sell our striker who seems to spend more time on the treatment table and every season misses a huge amount of playing time. I sometimes ask myself, what is the point in RVP? No doubt he is a World Class player, But he is made out of Glass and cant go a season without picking up a major injury.. And now that Rooney is on the market, Would you cash in on RVP and sign Rooney??

Well with Football Manager 2011 game you can call all the shots! Sign players on mega money ( Something that Arsenal haven’t done in years) the likes of Ribery, Messi etc…And maybe a world class keeper?..And would you cash on the likes of Van Persie and Cesc?…

    Nyuon Puol in Terekeka says:
RVP is a key striker for Arsenal when playing with either Chelsea or Man’U, so he cannot be sell, selling him will be like someone who sell Plamini from Emirate, we can still buy Rooney 4 Man’ City and Champion game and sell Fabregas, Diaby, Vela and Sabatian and bring in J hart for Goal keeping purpose and two more defenders meanwhile Dinelson, Song, Nasri and Rosicky can maintain midfield.

Arsenal Fan but will leave Arsenal when this statement is not taken.

No chance in hell, I can’t stand him

  3. Le Winger says:

You know, Manager 2011 or games like this does not take personalities and cultures into account.
For me, Rooney is just a striker on the level of Adebayor, technically. (Sorry, I only compare a player with those played or playing for Arsenal.)
If he moves to Man City or Chelsea, he will find the situation very tough because of lacking that kind of support and belief from Ferguson.
If he moves overseas, it is like a suicide, that probably means the end of his career.

  4. The BearMan says:

RVP has been a faithful team player + loyal ambassador for Arsenal both on and off the pitch. Unfortunate, he has had lengthy bouts on the treatment table. However, I would not swap him for Messi or Rooney. The exciting thing for Arsenal is this the youth programme is working well, within the next season if we are patient, we shall see three to four young players capable of standing in, in his absence.

Rooney although he is a good player should he leave ManU, I fear he will develop the appetite to kiss teams goodbye, the moment conditions do not work in his favour.

I say forget Rooney and spend the money to purchase Lukaku, together with RVP, Arsenal will have a deadly duo.

  5. avr says:

Only a real fool will swap Rooney for Shrek….

And incase even if one decide to sell RvP who wants some egoistic money grabber who goes fucking girls when his wife is pregnant comes back to club n says to his manger Fuck off I am going for free watever u say…

    Rooney is a joke…

As of Arsene, he knows theres only few level headed English Football players out there and he has already grabbed most of em for nothing-Walcott,JackWilshere,Gibbs and more coming…

    Y.E.S.

Wayne Rooney and Sir Alex Ferguson have changed their Facebook status from “In a relationship” to “It’s complicated”.

  8. GoonerGooner says:

I think you are all missing the point. rooney is leaving the mancs to win trouphies. So why would he come to The Arsenal ?

  9. JSP says:

To answer the question set……fuck no!!!!!

  10. khalil kcubes says:

no no no. rvp is an important playa in our scoud. his presence is always required by the young playas in the scoud. rooney nooooo….

  11. lee gould says:

too right ! persie only plays two games for us a year but can find the fitness to play the whole of the world cup

  12. Mabs says:

Rooney is overrated and i thought that when he was on fire last season… i mean was he better then drogba last season? I don’t think he was… was he better then ronaldo, messi or higuain last season? No… RVP is always injuried but i wouldn’t swoop him for rooney.

  13. Max says:

Absoloutly not, i wouldn’t sell Van Persie for less than 50 mil and seeing Rooney in the Arsenal shirt would make me sick

  14. trugooner21 says:

Honestly, i would consider selling RVP . I say this because as a top club competing for top honors we need our world class players. Considering that we only currently have a couple of them, RVP and Fabregas, They should be there for as many big games as possible. This isn’t the case with RVP. When fit he is great but it never lasts and we are left in need. So, yes i would sell him but it sure as hell wouldn’t be Rooney that replaces him!! It’s like being in a bad relationship…you love em soo much you don’t know how to let go. But sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do. I’m a RVP fan for sure, but Gunners come first
