I also thought that Arshavin was the best player on the pitch. Gutted he was substituted. Coach must have being watching something else.

  2. JAY says:

Just two simply words, WENGER OUT!!!!

  3. Roberto says:

it doesn’t really happen every week that Arsh finds his rhythm and what… he’s subbed off??? Wenger you… you… i don’t know how to call him

  4. ALan says:

Song is better than DIABY AND Denilson but is he as good as Viera or Flamini or Gilberto or Edu? Too many of the current players are just 2nd rate compare to top class players.

Wenger has over-rused the loyalty towards him. To see Almunia still at the club is a disgrace.

  5. admin says:

ALan totally agree.. Let us not forget that Almunia started this season as our number 1.. Wenger problem is that he has allowed great players to leave and replaced them on the cheap

  6. basha says:

wenger must go no other choice we need a man like jose. who know how to win but for wenger give him junior arsenal

  7. Gooner says:

I totally agree with what you say! At last some Gooners that speak some fu*king sense!! We will now be slagged off as not true supporters of the club, it makes me sick. If anything, we are the true supporters who actually care what this clown is doing to our club!! Why does he keep persisting in this stupid formation in which he only changed because of others around us doing it! And to playing Van Perise wide left and Bendtner out on the right, the guy just aint got a clue!! Should have taken Song off for Fabregas, and Walcott off for Bendtner, pushing Nasri out wide and leaving our BEST player on the day on the left in Arshavin! And as for the amount of money we pay half these morons, (Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky, Bendtner, Chamakh, Squillaci- How much are these Wankers getting paid?) Wenger out before this clown really does F*CK this club up!!!

  8. Jakob says:

Arsene is destroying the club – are you MAD? Arsenal is one of the only big clubs in the world with a sound economy, our own 60.000 stadium and in addition has and extremely low average age; all thanks to Wenger. We have Premier League mega talents like Vermaelen, Sagna, Song, Wilshere, Ramsey, Fabregas, Nasri, Walcott and van Persie in the squad plus a reserved team full of talents picked from all over the world. Furthermore, Arsenal still has all to play for in this season – one good weekend of results and we are back in the running. With 8 games to go it would be nice if all the fans got behind the team and supported them INSTEAD of booing them – pretty sure the players would appreciate it! However I will give you that it would not be the end of the world if Wenger brought a couple of quality players instead of Denilson, Squillaci, and Bendtner. Still, I am pretty sure fans of most other teams in the world would dream of being in our position.

  9. jay says:

@Gooner couldnt agree with you more

  10. SQUEAK WHEN HE WALKS says:

    Where is sinbad???????????????

  11. SQUEAK WHEN HE WALKS says:

Jakob, well said I have to agree with you mate

  12. j says:

fuck off jakob. wake up too yourself your part of wengers illusion. he has failed like the players have. yes all too play MY ARSE in late febuary we had the quadrople now we are 7 points behind and are looking like the mancs will kick are arses and maybe even win the title at the emirates

  13. frankie frankie says:

Wengers cheap replacements of great players have made the club what they are, which is 2nd best to man u. Lets face it some of you have said it above that the players who have come in are simply not living up to their predecessors.

I truly appreciate Wengers experiment and what it has done for the club but surely tis season should be the last in which he continues with it as it has not produced a trophy. Dont get me wrong, the still of football is fantastic, at times, but the whole reason we support a team is to see them win. Yes iknow winning isnt everything but lossing sucks….it really is the worst feeling. Seeing other teams lifting trophys gives me the worst feeling in my stomach, then again it could be wind. I dont mind lossing when i can see the team has given its all and we were just pipped but when we have all in front of us and blow it so spectacularly then i feel sick. The last month has been dreadful. I could’nt even enjoy the win against barcelona for long cause we were knocked out 2 weeks later.

Ok i dont expect the champs league but the carling cup and the league were ours for the taking. we cannot rely on Fabregas all the time and wenger cannot expect Van persie to be upfront on his own all the time and score 30 goals a season.

It didn’t work today and there will be alot of fans turning around and saying we are idiots for omplaining but to them i say this, look at the season on a whole. look at the last five seasons and tell me what has been achived?. Yes finishing 2nd 3rd 4th is great financially and bring in younster is great but whats the point if they sod off in 3 -4years or turn out to be denilson. I want to see winners. I want to see the fans cheering not booing. I want the players lifting trophies and i want to see that at this club no where else.

There will people who tell me to go and support man u or chelsea. I say to them fuck off! I am an arsenal supporter and there is nothing wrong in wanting the best for your club.

  14. Goons_with_Guns says:

Blame it on Wanker. Compare Wanker with Manure’s Red Face: would Red Face tolerate such lack of commitment and heart? Time to move upstairs Wenger and bring someone else in who can get the best out of what we have, which is quite good, actually.

  15. PJ says:

The club don’t get money from kit sales. They receive a payment upfront from Nike, or a set amount each year.

Shocking performance, something needs to change. The squad and attitude of individuals, back room staff need to be evaluated as does the role of the current board.

This won’t be popular but so do the home fans. What a contrast Gooners home and away are. Away from home the fans do nothing but encourage at home every mistake is greeted with a large sigh. It must be one of the most oppressive environments to play in.

We need something to get behind as currently there isn’t musch to shout about.

  16. cupsui says:

Arsharvin was the best in the 1st half but he lost it in the 2nd that was why he was substituted…hopefully having cesc back will bring that creativity that is just lacking right now…

  17. seasonticket says:

There has to be a point where enough is enough; and that point is here and now.
Wenger and Rice must be gone by Monday morning. Put Steve Bould in charge till the end of the season.
During the close season there should be a total clear out of the backroom staff, starting with the goalkeeping coaches and physios.
The apologetic, pathetic culture that surrounds the club has to change. I’v enever seen an Arsenal team llike this: totally devoid of any drive and responsibility, and so richly rewarded for doing so as well.
But what do we know, eh? We only support the club.
I bet a lot of them wish the season was over now, rather than having to do interviews for the next 9 weeks about how they choked again. Expect Cesc to pick up another injury (to protect himself), then make the move to Barca in the transfer window. Who can blame him? Although, to be honest he hasn’t seemed quite the same player since the Leeds game anyway. Cash in now, while he still has a decent value and buy a couple of proven players what we do have.
We are in second place in a fairly 2nd rate league this year, but we should be 6 points clear at least, results against West Brom, Newcastle and especially that mob up the road have decreed where we sit now. The first game of the season against Liverpool was the start of it; no, pre-season against Celtic when they missed a pen then had us hanging on at the end, after us being 3-0 up after 50 minutes. The writing was on the wall.
This team just hasn’t got it.
And for our manager not to see that, he has to be ultimately to blame.
    Wenger out.

  18. Jaygooner says:

So we didnt win? So Blackburn parked three buses including Dowd and his asisitants? So fucking what! Whine, moan, bleat, whinge I am getting sick to death off so-called Arsenal supporters. The prick who posted wanker out? Ho ho fucking funny, which wanker in? Sam Allardyce? We are The Mighty Arsenal!

  19. paulie says:

Hopefully this makes a few more fans see what a useless has been manager Wenger actually is, not
    to mention a greedy liar

  20. Andrew says:

When people/fans say Wenger is destroying the club, they talk not from a surface level (new stadium, youth squad, etc), but about something deeper…the soul of the club…the soul/passion of the players. Where are the great goalkeepers, defenders, spirit, desire, pride. Ever since the 2-3 loss to West Brom, you could tell there was an attitude problem. You can still see it (even against Championship teams). The team/squad has gone stale. Wenger talks a good talk about being a financially responsible club, but its lie. We have the 3rd highest wage bill in the league (£120m comparable to Chelsea’s £137m). We play a bunch of kids for f**k sake, have won nothing in years, hand out contracts to under-achieving players and have a wage bill comparable to Chelsea! Now we hear the club is planning on increasing season ticket. Talk about mis-management…talk about destroying the club.

  21. paulie says:

Jaygooner you are a pure bred clown. Why dont you just piss off with your blind pro Wenger bullshit, most fans have had enough of him and his gutless shit themselves chokers. You are now in the minority, Wenger out

  22. Alan says:

Arsene, if you want to be the Financial Manager then I’m sure the club can accomodate you. If you can’t handle the tactical side of the game or ship out the deadwood then please let the club bring in a manager that can

  23. Mack Daniel says:

    When you’re right you’re right.
However I have to say that my worst fear is that we let Wenger go, and he joins the Spurs or some other rival team and win everything with them.
Best case senario is that the board decides to buy players and shove them down Wenger’s throught.

  24. Jaygooner says:

Pualie I never piss off when the fight is on mate. I am a Gooner since 1967, to tell an Arsenal fan to piss off is the actions of a clown. Paulie, are you Tottenham in disguise? Wouldn’t suprise me. Wenger out you say? Who the fuck do you replace him with!

  25. seasonticket says:

    @Jaygooner

Am I the prick you are talking about? I want Wenger out, the same way I wanted Howe out, and Neill as well, when it was clear that they had done all that they could at the club.
I have every regard for what he has done for the club, but he is destroying his legacy now.
I don’t want a wanker in, that would be just stupid wouldn’t it? I mean we are a massive club, so why pick a wanker as you so eloquently put it.
Who was Arsene Wenger before he came to Arsenal? He needed us as uch as we needed him.
Interesting the way you mention Sam Allardyce though as the reason Wenger was so successful in those early years was by introducing dietary monitoring and training methods that had never been used in this country before. Big Sam is a massive advocate of such things now.
Over the years, such methods have become the norm for professional clubs throughout the leagues, so our advantage has been reduced.
The real worry is our lack of leadership and tactics. You can’t make leaders, people either lead or follow. We have a lot of followers. You only have to watch us defending corners; no one is taking responsibility to organise the defence. They all just wander up and stand next to the nearest player to them. It’s like 10 strangers playing park football at times.
The tactic thing just infuriates me. Today for instance, we put on 2 big forwards and take off 2 wingers? How? Why? In what world is that ever going to work? Plan A becomes Plan C, completely bypassing the Plan B which is supposed to link the two!
As for a new manager? I really don’t care about the arguement that if Wenger goes, so will some of the players as well. If that’s the case, sell ‘em now; they should be playing for the club not just the manager.
There are loads of good managers in Europe who would drop everything to manager the Arsenal, (Guardiola included judging by his recent comments,) but even in our own leagues there are young managers playing good, passing football who could be up to the job; notably ex-Arsenal Brian McDermott at Reading. Who knows, not like I’m going to be making that decision anyway is it?
All I can say about the current situation is, do you think if you owned a business that was continually failing to reach the next level, and your manager was making the same mistakes week after week, then offering the same reasons/excuses each time, you would just let him carry on unquestioned? Because to most fans, that’s exactly what is happening at the Arsenal at the moment, and we, as fans (or customers as I think we are now referred to) deserve better for our increasing sums of money.

  26. Jordan Gooner says:

Jakob, well done, I agree with your comments, Wenger is a great manager, I hope by next season we can get rid of this infection, the plastic so called supporters!! Go and support Spurs they have not won the league for 50 years and counting!! The Arsenal are a great club with great vision, our time is coming and we will be a force for many years to come. Come on The Arsenal!!!

  27. Jaygooner says:

    @seasonticket
Nope I believe you did not call Wenger a wanker. We all have the future of Arsenal Football Club deep in our hearts. Today was painful, and I agree, the substitions were bizarre. Put two big forwards on to replace two wingers who can sometimes cross a ball? Agreed. No argument. I will also accede to the argument that Pat Rice, great servant. is passing his sell by date. Time for Bould or Brady?

  28. seasonticket says:

    @ Jaygooner

Totally agree, Bould and Brady would certainly have a good go at turning this around.
Look at some of the people who have played so proudly for this club in the years we have been supporting it. Nelson, McLintock, Adams, Freddie…I could go on and on, so could you.
Some of this mob need a severe history lesson about what it means to pull on the Arsenal shirt.
We haven’t always had stylish, skillful players, but they always gave their all, that’s why, as a team, they became our heroes.
Players like Steve William, Kevin Richardson, Bob McNab, again, I could go on….they knew their place and worked hard to keep it.
I watched an interview this week with George Graham talking about Rocky and having to let him go, not once but twice, and telling how Rocky cried his eyes out; he couldn’t believe the Arsenal didn’t want him anymore. Somehow, I can’t imagine that being the case with this lot.
Diaby talks about playing in Barca or Madrid, I presume he means for either Espanyol or Vallecano? What planet are these players on seriously? They should concern themselves on the Arsenal and the Arsenal only.
Rocky will be turning in his grave tonight.

  29. Potter says:

Wenger’s problem and the clubs is that he is too close to his players. Remember 1991. Alan Smith top scorer at Arsenal for 4 seasons including a golden boot. What did Graham do ? He bought Ian Wright. He was a manager with the guts to do the dirty on a player that had served him well. Wenger will not do this , his squad is stale and needs livening up.

  30. gunner4life says:

    My fellow Arsenal supporters.
There is a way around this problem.
Wenger needs to be promoted to David Dein’s position.(emphasis on player scouting, contracts and youth development as well as some advise)
Then promote Steve Bould to defensive coach assisted by Tony Adams
Bring Bergamp and Viera as managers (just for one year), then after that go all in to bring Pepe Guardiola to Arsenal. His contract is up in one year.
The team needs to be build like before with strong muscular players that bully and instill fear into the opponents. We need big midfield and a good balance of English to foreign players. No more Foreign legion. Only English players will play their heart out just like in the past great ARSENAL teams.
Look at the likes of Chelsea and Man.Utd. (stong miedfield, big, tall muscular players, a strong core of English players, team leaders and winner mentality)

Sorry my friends but I only see this one as the ultimate solution.

  31. P Guardiola says:

“I think my time here at Barcelona is coming to an end, I’m happy here but when you are at a club like this for a long time it’s not possible to stay long-term. “Next year will be my fourth consecutive as Barca coach. A club like this must have a lot of courage to keep a coach for all this time because players tire of coaches and vice versa.”

  32. John says:

There is a difference between managing Arsenal and managing Reading, seens as Brian McDermott has not achieved anything yet. The lack of self disapline in the team is unbelivable, can go back to the game against Man City at home before we even discuss Newcastle. The injuries don’t help matters in the goalkeeping department. I hope we don’t scrap the youth policy completely because of Bartley and Lansbury do look promising players. Koscielny bar the League Cup final has been impressive since December.

We do need something to change but I would say more in the boardroom level since David Dein left, we have been in one major final. That tells me that Wenger has not been backed as much as some want to believe and for me and has had his hands tied, Peter Hill-Wood you have to go. It took them 18 months to find a replacement for David Dein. This does not give me confidence that they would find a good enougth replacement for Wenger when the time comes. The two managers that David Dein brought in was George Graham and Arsene Wenger. Hill-woods only real appointment Bruce Rioch enougth said.

Ask yourselfs the question, would have David Dein secured the Mark Schwarzer deal, yes. Would he have got the deal done for a Cahill or a Mertesacker, yes. The Chairman has to go before anybody else and bring back David Dein. David Dein was the deal braker and Wengers right hand man and was especially good at keeping player’s happy and getting them to stay at the club and signing the big names, when Wenger wanted and needed them such as Kanu, Overmars, Gilberto, Lehmann, Petit and the amazing deal to get Sol Campbell.

It’s not over just yet but the fat lady is warming up her voice but at the start of the season I would of taken second but things are better than some make out but it’s is not as good as others make out. I don’t think Wenger has lost it completely but something is missing in his own coaching staff and maybe he does need new ideas and maybe promoting Steve Bould to Assistant would be a good start and bringing back more of the old guard in the coaching staff such as Parlour, Bergkamp and Lehmann as a coach. Some of the player’s have to change and couple of big names will be needed and it will be the acid test for Deins eventual replacement Ivan. He needs to get Wenger his signings and Arsenal need to deliver next season, something. The back up player’s are letting Arsenal down and that’s why Lansbury will be a great addition next season because he does make those Freddie style runs and that’s what was lacking to day a midfielder prepared to make a late dart into the box and comfortable in front of goal unlike Wilshere.

  33. realist says:

football is absolutely fucked, too many spoilt brats getting told how good they are when in reality they are total shit. any of wengers previous title winning teams would without doubt destroy this current bunch, the match as a contest would be over within 20 minutes. the football bigwigs know football is in a massive decline in terms of talented players thats why they try to convince people that barca are the greatest football team ever and messi is the greatest footballer. you would need to be as stupid as fuck to believe this barca team are the greatest ever, never mind even good, and the same goes for messi. this is all being done to generate hype and publicity, because they know as well as us the fans that football is going down the drain granted it does work, but anybody that has half a brain can see it for what it is. wenger is doing the same at arsenal, who to fuck was he kidding when he said this is his best squad yet, he either is getting sarcastic in his old age or he was otta his head on magic mushrooms when he prolaimed those words of stupidity. at least in terms of talent this current arsenal team is way in front of the current manure team, but the big difference is manure has the believe and the desire to win, while our bunch of pansies completely fold with every opportunity. its all becoming boring and predictable, wenger may aswell sign nani and justin beiber, beiber would come in handy when they fuck up yet again, he could sing them all some emotional song about how its never their fault and they are the best squad yet. wenger needs to cut the crap stop putting his arm around these spoilt cunts he needs to sell the shite bring in some players with hard and desire and he needs to sort out his woeful tatics, i have great respect for the man, but it is starting to dwindle. it seems to me since david dein left things have gone downhill, maybe its a bit of a clough and taylor situation, but whatever it is, one thing is certain wenger needs to be told this current team are a disgrace to the arsenal name and alot of things will have to change.

  34. s j little says:

Mediocre players who can,t centre ,shoot, fight with passion,in a team with no leadership or captain devoid of tactical plans to meet changing conditions from game to game. Substitutions that never make sense and it seems are restricted not to cicunstances but must happen only on the 20 mins to go mark. Yes is Mr Wenger too weak minded to have a strong assistant he would be happy to take advice from, someone like the articulate and positive Keown! If Mr Wenger can,t drive with some flair from the touch line cannot nice Mr Rice got off his bum and hum up a few of the performing gutless robots that have such a cosy time at our expense. Yes booing is not something Arsenal fans engage in but this lot and the way the Board is so afraid of Wenger and Wenger so insults us with the rubbish he expounds has reached the point where frustration takes over. It seems Arsenal,s PR people ar,nt much good either or they would have a word with him.

  35. VERY says:

To those of you who think it is OK to be second best, to think economics in football is what the fans are thinking about in their sleep, to believe we have mega talents that will deliver someday, one day, please FFS, to think that our young ones will be great one day, some day, please FFS, I admire your perpetual optimism. Arsenal need people like you to keep them at second best.

  36. JOEL says:

We haven’t beaten any side since the FA Cup Replay against Orient.Injuries or not, this side has failed to beat West Brom,Sunderland and Blackburn. All sides struggling for any type of form prior to playing Arsenal. How on Earth can any right-minded Gooner believe that this side is capable of raising itself to a level where both the Mancs and the Spuds can be beaten- I really don’t think so-given current performances. The team is devoid of confidence and leadership at the moment and I can’t see any real signs of improvement.Another disappointing end of season looms, made all the more frustrating given the chances that this team have had this year,Unfortunately, this team will never win anything and neither will this Manager who has run out of ideas.
The January Transfer Window should have been utilised,in an attempt to both shore up and galvanise the team. but as we now know the Manager chose to ignore glaring deficiencies throughout the spine of the team as well as ongoing problematic injuries to key squad members.
I’m definitely not one who advocates change for the sake of it and foresee a great deal of upheaval if the current manager is relieved of duties but i see no other choice. The current experiment simply has not worked. The Invincibles should have been used as a “Template” and built upon-not dismantled in unseemly haste.I’m fed up seeing a never-ending stream of “Wonder-Boys” being brought into the club;playing the odd 1st Team game;being farmed out on loan;coming back to be given extended contracts before they have proved themselves or more importantly having won anything. For a Squad that is almost exclusively composed of “home-grown” players. Arsenal’s wage bill is ridiculously high. The likes of Bentner,Diaby,Denilson,Rosicky,Eboue,Squillaci and even Chamakh have had plenty of opportrunities this Season to prove their worth but like the Team, as a whole, have been found to be “wanting”-Now I “Want” to move in a New Direction-one which includes English players who are prepared to give their all for the team;one which doesn’t solely revolve around a Balance Sheet;one that involves true leaders on the pitch who can drive the team forward;and one which has a man at the helm who isn’t caught up in his previous achievements and who’s mind is open to more than one game plan!!

  37. GET OUT ARSENE says:

There are still Arsenal fans who will tell you the sun shines out of Arsene’s arse. Go and support Spurs? Oh do fuck off you “wenger knows” plums. You are a cancer to this club, keeping that man who has totally lost the plot in his job, and one of you blames it on Pat Rice as if its his fault and replacing him will make it better? What a bunch of mugs.

    IN ARSENE WE RUST.

  38. eric says:

José Mourinho to replace Arsene Wenger is the only solution if we want to win the title or Champion League. I’ve no faith in Wenger after so many years of failure.

  39. dan says:

well said, enough is enough now,and no,why do these mugs think maureen will be the answer, you pricks need to wake up,mourinho for manager, behave,im all for change and wenger out,but i certainly would not want that chav cunt running this football club…..

  40. hec says:

The year of the Invincibles Henry scored 30 goals , Pires got 14 goals , Bergkamp, Freddie , Edu,Big Sol etc, etc. who have we now ? Van Persie , really where is he when we have needed him ? Bendner , huge ego , huge wages , small talent , Chamack we got him on a free ,lovely lad ,average player , so lets pay him 80k a week, unbelievable the amount of dross we have now , Almunia, Squillaci, Denilson , Diaby ,Bendner, Chamack ,.

Arsene should realise he is employed to win footall matches for Arsenal for the benefit of the people that without them there would be no Arsenal that is the supporters , he is not employed to make the shareholders huge dividends year in year out , nor is he employed to provide work for under performing people , we can now see why he cant buy quality players , the money goes in to paying under performing players huge wages.
Arsene you promised us a trophy this year , you have failed , thanks but Goodbye.

  41. Max says:

okay i am not at all happy about this but saying the manager is “destroying” the club is insane. i don’t get it. people on here were saying how there is no way we can finish in the top 4 this season in august and we’re in SECOND in the most competitive and difficult to win league on the planet. you should all be eleated on how the club have far exceeded your expectations. by the way the players lack of creativity and finishing touch is to blame for today’s result and i know what you’re going to say “well why didn’t they buy better players?” and the truth is i don’t know why. and neither do you. do you work for the club? do you know how much debt we owe on the stadium currently? do you know what the club’s financial situation is like? me neither.

  42. Loose Cannon says:

So many whining depressives on here and the Author is the daddy of all doom merchants, jeeez.

Wenger destroyed the club? I guess you all forgot about the mid-table, UEFA cup days of old.

Wenger is building the club into an institution that shines for decades rather than short-term, quickfix success.

Arsenal are the only club who challenged the league with out a billionaire, maybe we need one…

  43. david says:

the problem isnt just wenger. The problem is all around him hes got nothing but yes men, if Dein was still at the club, no way would he of let us get to this throphyless situation. The board is a joke!

    SEASONTICKET @10.42pm 2/4

I too have have been an ever present Gooner snce 67.

I also share your comments & use the ‘business’ analogy like you have.

Wenger has been allowed to become all too powerful at the club, the board appear to be concentrating on the non football affairs like running a property company leaving the main business, being a football club, entirely to Wenger. That has given him carte blanche to pursue his experiment, that in any other business, as is now proving with our club, will never work. Equally worrying are his tactics & motivation.

I own two companies & you could never fill your workforce with just young potential & expect the company to flourish alone without experience by their sides or the correct leadership.

The bottom line is, when something goes wrong in my business with one of my employees, there is only one person to blame,ME,… especially if the company keeps making the same mistakes…..!

  45. eddy says:

The most annoying thing to Arsenal Supporters, i believe, is the fact it looks so obvious to us!!
We need a world class keeper. Maybe szecny is the answer but we need quality cover for him.
Why play Song in home games when they have 11 behind ball???
Sign a GK, Cahill, Rodwell and Benzema. And dont just enquire. GET THEM!!!
Personally i would sell Denilson, Bendtner and maybe Song. Im not sure he fits in with our style.

    Szecny

  46. eddy says:

    Home games play

    szecny

    Van Persie Benzema

    Away games play

    Sagna Cahill Vermalen Clichy

    Walcott Rodwell Fabregas Wilshere Nasri

    Van Persie

We just seem to want players, enquire about signing them and if given a NO forgetting it

Barcelona, Man Utd, they dont take no for an answer and get there men!!!

  47. stuart says:

I have been a season ticket holder now for 24 years and the one thing that has stood out for me is that we had spirit, Passion and a captain who played with his heart on his sleave. Since Viera went we have lost all three elements and it us destroying the club. The style of football and type of players we have has changed to. From strong, skillful athletic players we have gone to small players who have got the skill. We used to play a fast game that has all but disappeared from the way we play now. The passing game we play looks pretty but in six seasons has not won us a thing. I want us to win first and play pretty football second. To do this we have to clear the squad out. Almunia, squillaci, Diaby, denilson, bentdner should go over the summer. If necessary even cesc so we can remodel the team. And if wenger won’t stand up and admit he was wrong then he should go to. The time for excuses is over its time for action and passion. Let the club know how we feel write open polite and constructive letters do not be abusive and they will listen.

You know what is consistent about Wenger and his Arsenal team. They play fantastic high tempo football, destroy teams with passing and bring through talented youngsters. Then we get to February when all the teams are fighting hard for points and all the above stops because they lacked fight, drive, desire. Its no point playing great football up until Feb and then cant up a gear like everyone else. To not beat the likes of WBA and Blackburn is something i would expect of a team like Blackpool.

Arsenal did not lose the only losers were the boo boys who lost their credibility.

I don’t get it. The players, formations, morale, manager and club management are all terrible. The manager just has to go. Yet we’re in second?!?! It doesn’t add up.

Until just recently Arshavin was part of the problem, pathetic and just had to go. Now the manager’s an idiot for realizing he’s the best player on the team.

Mourinho would require a huge contract plus he only goes to teams if the purse strings are opened up. Do we pay for it with debt or raising ticket prices?

Enough criticizing and booing the players, managers and club. If you fire Wenger in disgrace who should we hire as a replacement?….. How about one of you? You’re brimming with confidence. The tactics and good/bad players are so obvious to you. Why don’t you apply? They’re bound to see how blindingly obvious your conclusions are and implement them immediately. Being a Premier League manager is actually very easy. Even a complete moron manager with clearly inadequate players can stumble into winning the League. Coming 2nd in the League is not only shameful but you’ve got to be a complete to do it. That’s why we need one of you know-it-alls who proudly boos the team.

Let us pledge to become fair weather “supporters”, like many at Man U and Chelsea. We’re the only 3 teams that won the League multiple times. We need to embrace the mentality that we’ll only support the club when they win. 2nd in the League is pathetic. We should boo the team heartedly feeling proud of ourselves and righteous when they draw. We can threaten that we’ll no longer follow the team and might switch our support to one of the only other two teams who have more recent success. Choosing another team that is winning and jumping on the bandwagon is appealing as we just want to win and not support. Supporting your team is for losers.
