Arsenal have become a joke & Wenger is the clown

Who can blame the fans for booing?

There use to be a famous quote ” The Arsenal Way”.. Our great club always did things the right way and with class.

Now look at us, we have become a joke.

A club that cant finish off and hang onto a lead and a club that cant finish a transfer.

Linked for weeks with Ricky Alvarez, but we faffed around and lost out on him. Linked with Joel Campbell, and again couldn’t complete that deal. If we cant even convince unknown players like Alvarez and Campbell to join us then it shows how unattractive we have become.

And now news that the Juan Mata deal collapses because Arsenal Fail to pay the release fee in time just proves how Mickey Mouse we now are. Now his buy out clause is invalid and the price is now £10m MORE!

Add to that the current problems with Cesc and the fact that we might lose Nasri for NOTHING next summer and the fact that players like Almunia, Eboue and Bendtner are still on the payroll… CAN YOU REALLY BLAME THE FANS FOR BOOING!

What happened to “We will be active in the transfer market”… What happened to “We will see a high turnover of players”… What happened to “We wont allow a Flamini type situation to happen again”…. What happened to our great club?

But this is nothing new… I dont understand why so many people are now shocked. This has happened to Arsenal for a number of years now.

Mark my words the booing on Sunday will be repeated a number of times this season.

Nothing will change because Wenger hasn’t addressed our weaknesses… But this is nothing new!

Mr Gazidis and Mr Wenger should hang there heads in shame.

It’s going to be a long season.

You are far too pessemistic. You are taking hearsay roumors as Wengers thoughts and actions. You have no idea what wenger wants and you never will. Do you have any idea the process involved in making transfers these days. And we can’t blame the man for not taking risks and then turn around and blame him for keeping Nasri even though he will be free next summer. Its enough to have to face the best teams in the world week to week and have to fight in the transfer market against price gougers trying to milk our fine club of money just because we are well off (thanks to the professor), now the club must tolerate and play for some of the most ungrateful and impatient fans I’ve ever witnessed. Why don’t you be a fan across town and sabatoge chelsea. Do me a favor and get a dictionary and look up the word supporter.

Booing was misguided..they should have targetted Arsene himself! and if PHW and IG were around, they could get some too..Its not the defence fault they are bad, its Arsene and the board’s fault for putting them there…

Leave the players alone and give a huge BOO to Wenger in CAPITAL LETTERS..

Wenger should’nt have been a share holder in arsenal fc hence the reluntance to buy bigtime player, protecting his profit per share

Totally agree here too. Wenger is total useless. He has lost all of his abitions for this team, and become a clown in international football. The board and this ” fantastic” manager lie to us fans every day. They keep players who are so fare away from be good enough PL. They also hold on to greedy overpaid players who don’t want to be there. Get rid of them asap. Bring in a world class manager who see where the problems are, and who will solve them.

Imagine you go to a strip club, pay a hefty gate-money, but when the time comes, the dancer fails to take her clothes off. Upon your protest, her manager tells you that “she was very close to…”. The manager also assures you that “he is going to be very busy and would bring in some special dancers for the next performance”.

You trust his words, leave frustrated, and come back later, only to face similar frustration. And this just goes on, and on, and on.

    What would/should you do?

Nico 6 years without a trophy and lack of in the transfer Market is a joke and I can’t believe people sticking up for Wenger. He is to blame for out lack of trophys and lack of buying players. Most managers would had been sacked by now. We are getting the name yids now and scrooges because even our rivals Spurs have bought and will finish above us unless we buy. I think Wenger has had long enough and now enough is enough.

Somebody has been spending too much time reading the spineless press and listening to the idiots on SSN. Don’t get wound up! And if you think that Arsenal should go into debt to get ahead of the clubs who are pumping money in– forget it. It’s the Arsenal way –or the highway. Nothing will change. Arsenal will procure and produce emerging talent– selling at a (vast, usually) profit when the time is right. This is a self-sustaining model that does not rely on sugar daddies or billion-sized debt. Look at it this way. The other clubs are HAVING to spend fortunes —just to stay ahead. Forget the hype. That is the fact. Don’t expect Arsenal to be able to compete with Man U and Barca– and the billion debt . Just enjoy the miracle when they do. And don’t expect favours from the refs. They will follow the money again. Those two bad penalty decisions would have won us the Cup easily— but like last season and like Arsenal’s opponents– they have to work hard, very hard, to keep Arsenal down!! If you want to vent anger at someone– send it to where it belongs: the press. the media the refs and the people controlling the refs. They are all following the money!! AW DOES need to get a couple of class players in but the window is open for another month. AW could buy the same quality as Fergie 30% cheaper if he had the money. He will probably get value anyway. He has to. That is how it is!!

yes i agree, its not just this season, to me he hasnt replaced players from two or three seasons ago,
plays the same tatics, players he played saturday and sunday, we thought would never wear the shirt again. 60,000 gooners every week know what needs to be done, but he seems oblivious this.
