This guy is a fantastic attacking full back. Something we haven’t had since whisper it Ashley Cole.

I am a Fanatic Fenerbahce Fan, and it is a very sad day for us as we are losing a very good player. Andre Santos has amazing skill and potential. The only downside with him is his motivation and effort. Sometimes, he just plays lazy and therefore his output is not as good. But when he wants to play, I think he is one of the best left backs in the world (that’s why he plays for Brazil). In turkey, he played well on and off, but you could see the potential for sure. I wonder what he is going to do in Arsenal, if he gets his mind to it he could be amazing. But it will take time for him to get his fitness to the level that it needs to be at to play in England. He struggled to play the full game at the pace that it is played in Turkey, so there is no way for him to play a full game at the Premiership pace. Believe me, we would never have let him go, if not for UEFA screwing us out the Champions League, and given our situation, there is no way Andre would do us any good as he would just not be motivated. I hope he puts in the effort in training, and then you will have an amazing player.

His offensive skills are unparalleled, but he does lack on defense a bit, better conditioning should fix that. good luck

Wenger’s philosophy with regard to players and tactics has beena failure the last five years. The EPL is the most physical of all the major leagues.Reyes was technically but physically not the type of player who can flourish in England. He was kicked around by the the Neville bros and yet the stinking bald eagle ref didn’t take action until Reyes was no more a threat in he 50 th match of the season.
Tacticallt Wenger is not as astute as the other top managers. His one style attack is the name of the game can backfire and with spectacular result as the 8-2 score line suggests.I believe another manager would have played anti soccer to nulify the ugly brit bull dog and Young. But Wenger doesn’t believe in anti soccer.Soccer must be atttack, attack all the way. It’s ok if you have a leak proof defence.Frankly even if the senior players are in the team I would give a rating of 2 to 3 out of ten.
Hopefully Wenger canbring the gunners back to business .If not I am afarid he will have to pay the price for repeated failure.
BTW GG siad if Wenger were to leave tomorrowthere ill be queue to get his services. I am afraid that was in the past. These big teams are ruthless and Wenger wont be given time to nurture his kids. It cuts both ways. You are as good as your last game.

Only a short while ago, Wenger was saying he definitely wouldn’t be buying a left back. That he had Gibbs and Traore, and Vermaelen who could fill in if needed. Now he has sold Traore, and IS going to buy. So he lied to us again. Why has it taken so long for him to realise that Traore isn’t good enough ? Why hadn’t he identified the need for a back up long before this, instead of leaving it till two days before the transfer window closes? This demonstrates poor planning.
We don’t need a full back who is good at attacking. We need one whose primary skill is DEFENDING.

Traore proved he’s never been good enough, Sunday was the finall nail inthe coffin. If you think its Wenger lying to you then thats your choice, or you could think he’s given up on Traore and brought an experienced player to help our team. Personally I think its a good move

Some Korean who nobody has ever heard of, a brazillian whos been offered a 4 year contract and is 28 and a 6-6″ defender who only last week said he was happy wearing the green shirt of breman and has no intention of leaving a great club.
The crumbs that are left on the table.

As everyday passes we look ever more embarrassing, the once mighty Arsenal getting hammered at old traff and then struggling to convince any player of class to come and join the party.
Wenger is in a mess of his own making and until we set him loose and move on we will NEVER win another trophy.

Wheres the marquee signings? If meartsacker or vermaelan get injured we will be back to square one and relying on the three useless centre halves that have ruined the past two seasons!
We need at least 2 (world class) centre halves not just one slow one, a strong leader in midfield and a striker of note instead of scrabbling around for wannabe’s

Please wenger just resign, i dont care if you get a job at another top club (although i think that is an urban myth), as long as its away from our passionless ground and passionless fans (those at man utd are excused).
You really have destroyed the whole fabric of the club and reduced the fans to nothing more than cannon fodder for our nearest and not so near rivals. You told us that moving to a new stadium would enable us to compete the the best in europe……….well, whats happened?
Our season is over and its unfortunate we have to spend the remainder with you.
    Please wenger just resign

finally, some world class players. u know we the arsenal fans should put more pressure on the management..clearly it had to take a very annoying humiliation from united to get arsene into the transfer market.next season we should decide the players to be bought.setting up a website by the fans would definately help us land players like benzema and gusseppe rossi next season

Wengers philosophy has been blown out of the water with loan signings from one of our biggest rivals ( would united loan a player from city?), two other players 28+, this all smacks of desperation. Wenger had from last may to organise our once great team and just look at the sorry state of it now.
Reading in the paper today and if true he may be considering his future at the club. Wenger has been backed into a corner where he has had to make purchases for the sake of the club and it has severely dented his pride but even to the last he could not bring himself to buy the top drawer purchases we have been crying out for since 2007. Wenger wants to squeeze every last penny out of any club that dare bid for one of his players yet expects other clubs to wilt at the derisory offers he makes for any of theirs. Wenger has no direction anymore and is stuck betwenn a rock and a hard place. His credability has been damaged beyond repair and if anyone thinks the panic buys of the last week will solve all his (and our) ills, the are deluded beyond belief.
We will NEVER win another trophy whilst Wenger is at the healm
