Over the last week we have had an interview from Wenger stating that there is a distinct possibility that he won’t spend this transfer window as well as insisting that Arsenal are strong enough to compete for the title without any signings. As well as Arsene’s delusional speeches we have heard a lot of other people saying that there is a divide at Arsenal with Arsene refusing to spend and the board are growing increasingly impatient at having to deal with a manager who refuses to spend and possibly admit that he is wrong. Amy Lawrence a journalist from the Guardian spoke quite frankly on the situation at Arsenal last night and you can hear a clip of what she had to say on the link below.

We are tired of watching the financial views of certain people bring our club down, we are sitting on a small fortune with a depleted squad and no action has been taken to buy any players this summer! Every club asides from Man United have all bought players this season and strengthened up their squads and we are left wondering what do our board and manager do every summer? It is time for this to end, it is time for us to take action and make them sit up and notice how unhappy the fans really are.
Arsenal Action have organised a boycott of buying the Arsenal kit this season. It is simple just don’t buy the kit, if we all refuse to buy a new kit then it is a start. Wear an old shirt to games, they are much nicer than the new ones anyway. If Arsenal refuse to spend money then why should we? Let’s unite and show them we are serious in our view on their socialist transfer policy.
Support Arsenal with your heart. Support the players and never boo them. But until Arsene Wenger starts to spend the pound notes, WE the fans wont spend on the new kit or ANY Arsenal Merchandise.

Yes, We should do that now ..
This is absolute tripe. I will support my club through thick and thin. Buying players doesn’t guarantee titles. The current squad were top of the form table for the last 12 games of last season.
I will be sticking two fingers up at Arsenal Action, buying the sexy new Arsenal away kit and singing my heart out for whichever 11 are on the pitch come August 17th.
This is the kind of action I have been longing for because without drastic actions like this, Arsenal management board or A.W himself will not understand to what extent they have pushed us to. I am a loyal Arsenal fan and cant continue hiding my face when I come across other fans, I think we should boycott home games aswell thats the only way the board and manger will ever take us serious. Its high time we they fans get some loyalty and pride back after this long 8 years of disappointment . It time for Action no more small talk or empty promises. we all need to stand as one or continue hiding our face.

Best Way will be to also boycott the games. That will definitely hit them hard and Wenger with his board will finally understand that fans should have their say and this one count. COME ON GOONERS!!!! LET’S STAND TOGETHER AND BOYCOTT ARSENAL GAMES AND KITS TILL THE CLUB IS STRENGTHENED WITH TOP NOCHT PLAYERS.
It is a start but we need to do more, boycott the Emirates Cup as well and the first games of the season.

The Transfer window is still open until the 02 September, so I am expecting the club to make two marquee signings. Boycotting the kit will make no difference to the club. If no players are bought , there will be a big blacklash from the supporters, which will force change, either at the board level or management.
Why don’t you all just boycott the club permanently and don’t come back? Don’t let the door hit your backside on the way out.
Yeah lets just buy for the sake of buying! Wooo lots of money on players who might not improve our squad that’s what we need. £50 million for an racist prat who bites people? These stories about how close we got to the likes of Bernard and Higuian are very inflated we probably never made an offer, or if we did we bulked at the price and probably quite rightly. If we spent 21 million on Bernard and he struggled Wenger will be booed. He can;t win either way with a lot of the plastic fans so might as well not disrupt team morale or break the bank
support arsenal thru thick and thin, thru mud and shit. boycotting wont help arsenal score goals, if anything it would just make the players feel under appreciated after losing out on their fanbase. your support on the other hand gives players morale, a reason to play, a reason to score.
This year will definitely be the year spurs will end up above Arsenal. Thats the only time i hope Wenger’s pet fans will know Wenger has taken Arsenal a step below.

Well said. The idea of not supporting the players (or booing as some idiots have done) is a surefire way of making the club less attractive to potential signings and pissing off the players who do step out onto the pitch. I bet if Jack left next summer because of booing fans or a boycott of games, those fans responsible would manage to blame someone else.
Any fan that’s unhappy with the club now is unlikley to have experienced the dark days of the 1960′s and I’ll be more than happy if they leave and take their gloryhunting pals with them. I’m a “supporter”…….the clue is in the name!
I support not only buying the new kit but also boycott games. Enough with Wenger’s arrogant and failed ideology with in experience young and cheap players. We don’t need to spend candy bars to sign kids like Sonogo, we to use cash to go after winners and strong men not kids.

I trust wenger knows the best. Yeah, it would be great if we got that billion dollar superstar. But it wouldnt garantee us anything. The fact is, this is prob the first time in many years we dont need to sell off our biggest and best stars. Everyone stays this season. Last year we had half a new team, slowly adapting to eachother, getting better and better every game. Just look at the last 15 matches last season. We were the team that took the most points. And thats why i have faith in our team, new signings or not. Continue to support wenger and arsenal. Boicotting wont do us any good. I dont get it why some “fans” starts booing our own team.
what a ridiculous article. why is it anyone with a blog think they have the right to try and bring the club to it’s knees. it’s time to grow up, support your club and if you don’t like it then bugger off. Just because you go to a game or two doesn’t mean you have any idea about how to run a football club. You also have no idea about what work is being done to try and sign players, and who we are really interested in. Most press speculation is aimed at selling papers, or set up by agents trying to get the player a better contract at their current club. How many players have we been ‘linked’ with this season, only to see them sign a new contract 2 weeks later? it’s like being in a school playground with half the crap you see ‘reported’ in pre-season.

Can’t believe these wallies talking about the performance of the last 10+ games of last season…We never played anyone of substance and were still miles off the top 3 with pure quality. AW took us on a great adventure for 10 years and has now taken us to an all-time low….How could any manager get away with an 8-2 defeat to Man U and no trophy for 8 years and earn 7.50m a year?….And we certainly can’t brag about TOP 4 when we are the most expensive “day-out” in the league with 60,000+ fans every week (on paper, coz there has to be at least 5,000 empties every week)

you are right…. but in Arsene we trust…. don’t you think Wenger wants to win the league or say the CL.. he definitily does.. but you will have to understand… Wenger and co. were busy stabilsing the Club financially… only spending money will not give results… yes we need to strengthen ourselves in attack and also a goalkeeper…

Surely boycotting the kit, but buying one of the worlds most expensive season tickets and turning up in an old shirt misses the point somewhat? If your boycotting kit, you need to boycott all money that goes to the kitty, merchandise, tickets, etc too!
For all the good AW has bought to the club, the style of football the philosophy the training ground the the diet, he’s ruining it all with his stubbornness and pig headed attitude. ..I for one was not taken in by all the rubbish noises going around about all these big plyers coming to arsenal this year…reasons being, what is so different about this season, why all of a sudden change your ways and buy a 30-40 million pound player? Can’t believe how many people seem so supportive of the way the club have operated this summer. They deliberately manipulated supporters by delivering that ‘we will buy big’ message just before season tickets go on sale – convenient. They make their bids, knowing they won’t be accepted, but at least it looks like they’re trying. All the while the fans are being extorted, paying ludicrous ticket prices to watch a bunch of kids and good, but not great players. We’re facing an injury crisis and the season hasn’t even started – these blind faith supporters are treated like cash-cows, but in return offer their unconditional love. Action must be taken and not buying shirts would be a start, a good one. The players need our support, the club needs to feel our anger.
