Agonising yes, but we got of relatively unscathed. Both Barca and Liverpool droppd all their points. Crazy week in the Champion's League.

We were complacent and failed to make chances count. I'm sure this will be a sharp kick up the arse for the team.

Was upset to concede a late goal like that and then I went on livescore and saw Cesspool 1-2 Lyon two and all became right with the world again. :)

Should have wrapped up the game. But at least we dropped 2 points in the UCL and not the Premier League. Would be a good reminder to the lads that although we can play well, we have to fight for the win too.

A visit to West Ham is up and we know how Robert Green usually plays against us. Hope to see Nasri get on the bench.

With the way we played in the second half, I'm not too surprised we ended up dropping 2 points. And of course as soon as I go to see the Kop crying over the Lyon loss, they score on Arsenal. bad karma? :\

You've obviously been waiting a few games to say that.

We should be disappointed but not too upset. It was a draw away, and Undoubtedly it will spur us. Everybody else is dropping points at the moment, and we were becoming over-confident. This will ground us and we'll get back to it for a good thumping of West Ham, who are playing like a team looking to be relegated.

This was a predicable score and a draw away in the CL is ok. We actually played a bit differently to how we play in the Premier league - we were more patient and controlled. AZ only had one shot on target, which unfortunately went in. We only had 7 on target and really should have scored at least 2.

I think the tactics were right and although we didn't dominate or play great the reason we lost was lack of concentration at a set piece (Song was ball watching) and a rather arrogant assumption that we deserved to win because we are Arsenal, so we never got out of 2nd gear. This confidence/arrogance will cost us if we show it against better teams. I don't know where it comes from. it certainly isn't all the trophies we have won recently.

Anyway, we'll sort them out at home next time.

I've got a not-so-nasty feeling that AZ will come out and play at the Emirates - free of nerves and the burden of losing at home for the first time in 30 odd years, which I beieve was the reason behind them playing so poorly at home last night - and they were, believe me.

Expect a difficult game next week and quite possibly another draw, I reckon.
