Do we expect an apology from Barcelona? Email them…

In all types of business, companies are expected to control there staff.

Barcelona are regarded by some as being the greatest footballing club in the world,  so maybe its about time they started to show some respect to others and acted like it?

The behavior of certain Barcelona players recently has been nothing more then a disgrace.  The club should discipline the players and also make a full and public apology to Arsenal FC and there fans for the recent Cesc incident.

If Barcelona want to be regarded in high esteem by so many they need to act and show that they do not approve of such behaviour.

Also Fifa should do something about this. But we as Arsenal fans live in the real world, of course Barcelona or fifa are not going to do anything. They are going to say “it was just a playful joke”

But add to this all the comments made by so many Barca players about the future of Cesc, this is surly a campaign to disrupt a young man into moving to his hometown club.

Just imagine if Arsenal did this? Lets just say we were linked with Ribery and all summer our french players at the world cup were talking about how great it would be if he signed for us etc. Lets say France won the world cup and Diaby, Sagna did the same to Ribery.

There would be a public outcry in Germany from Bayern Munich and there fans.

Its totally unacceptable and WE as supporters must show our disgust.

Please comment bellow, and this post will be forwarded on to Barcelona FC and Fifa demanding action.

It’s really discutting & disrespectful about Barca and all their stuff the way they are behaving, If I’m saying bout the stuff it’s from their president till to their swippers or cleaners. For me they are just a box of tools, uneducated people I don’t know if Pique, Xavi & others want to be come agents instead of shut their mouths be the players they are. Arsenal FC also must learn from now that those people their not the type of people you can have relationship or any kind of co-oparation their hypocrits, for me they must really apologise to fans of Arsenal & Arsenal FC…

  2. Paddy says:

FIFA should ban Barcelona from making transfers for 2 years, as they tried to do to Chelsea before they lost their nerve. Barcelona are the shame of football for this disgraceful and prolonged episode of tapping up. FIFA should be enforcing their own rules. They just look weak by doing nothing.

  3. yog says:

It’s just show’s the gap in class when something like this happens. Arsenal Football club rise above the so called super powers. This is how a Football Club should be run, maybe because we have sold dead wood in the past they thing Arsenal is a selling club. Let me state here and now for the record, we only sell crap players, just ask city. Cesc is a world class player and gentleman just the kind of person we want at the Arsenal. Congratulations to Spain on winning the world!

  4. Old gooner says:

Barca are a bunch of two bob chavs. No class at all. Fuck them

  5. AK5 says:

It’s Shame for all Camp Nou kindergarten’s jokers(Puyol & Pique + that extra silly, Reina)!! they(catalans) spend all their time too steeling our captain with their dirty talks, works and moneys!
Hey Mr. Rossel: Stay home and leave us lone, Cesc don’t want Alex’s(Hleb) final!!(at least i hope that! and if it’s not true, he will come back in the right way, not with this poor pranks.)
“”NO MAN IS BIGGER THAN ARSENAL”"

  6. notts gunner says:

barca, i mean this in the politist possibile manner but PISS OFF. Act with class like the supposed giants of european football should and not a whining 4 year old who just cries when he cant get what he wants.

  7. Robin says:

IM from Sweden. Swedish Arsenal fans are now officially hating Barcelona. Everybody i talk to feels the same. Barca used to be my team in Spain. Now it not anymore. Never will be again. No more Barca shirts bougt in my home that is for sure.

Puyol and Pique. What can you say to litle children like that ?

  8. Asdf says:

they are jealous becouse arsenal have cesc fabregas, the think that puting fabregas a barcelona t-shirt he will play in barcelona, but thats not true, so leave cesc alone, and wenger clearly say that he wonts sell our capitan cesc fabregas, so leave arsenal, alone! ;)

  9. Josh says:

Classless. Tactless. Inappropriate and damn right degrading. We know what the media are like sometimes but barca know exactly what they are doing. The odd comment you can deal with, but this has gone on way too far and too much. They need to be in their place. They do not have any more rights than anyone else just because they are barcelona.

  10. GOONER says:

FUCK U, BARCA! FUCK U!!! IM REALLY TIRED OF ALL THIS BS. THIS ACT SHOWS HOW MUCH THEY HAVE DISRESPECTED OUR CLUB. BARCELONA ARE NOT BIGGER THAN ARSENAL TO BULLY THEM AROUND NOR IS ARSENAL BIGGER THAN BARCELONA. THE LAST TIME I CHECKED … CESC IS UNDER CONTRACT UNTIL THE SUMMER OF 2015. SO HES AN ARSENAL PLAYER … WEARING THE ARSENAL JERSEY NOT BARCELONA. FUCK OFF!

  11. Paul says:

    Dear Sir/Madam

With respect to your handling of your interest in approach to Arsenal and Cesc Fabregas…your club and in particular the senior executives and players representing Barcelona, have consistently behaved in a terribly crass and unprofessional manner. Were I, or any of my employees, to behave similarly, we would be summarily dismissed for cause.

While I respect the quality of your team’s football, I find your on-going approaches of current and previous Arsenal players to be immature and deeply dis-respectful. You may have what you want, if you engage the club professionally, and are willing to pay a fair asking price for a talented World Cup winning player and Arsenal’s captain.

Show some restrain, some professionalism, and above all some class.

  12. Borislav Borisov says:

It’s really simple. Either start acting like that “Mes que un club” motto really means something, or change it to “Mes que un c*nts”, because their behaviour is downright despicable and the way they conduct themselves on the transfer market is not something that an elite team should be doing.

  13. lb says:

This is typical Barcelona. They really think they are the best team and the only team in the world. We all hope Uefa or Fifa do something but they are the golden club so nothing will happen
IF THIS ISN’T TAPPING UP A PLAYER THEN WHAT IS???

WELL DONE ARSENAL FOR BEING THEW ONLY PROPER CLUB IN THE WORLD!!!!!

  14. 1978gooner says:

barca are raping football, arsenal fc have stated cesc is not for sale.
barcelona, take no for an answer, and control some of your players and most of your board. show some dignity and respect towards contracted players and other clubs custodians. you lack basis manners. your behavior is sub human, pls see evidence above.even cockroaches eventually find shade under a stone,i dont think mother nature has created a stone big enough for your obscene pubic ego.

  15. dennis10 says:

fuck off you bankrupt corrupt cheaters!

  16. Sebastian says:

Barca are a disgrace. an embarrassment. I use to think of them as being above Real Madrid, but now i hope Real win everything in the spanaish league for years to come. Anyway, Arsenal have shown with their class, style and conduct that they are a far superior club to that circus that is f.c.barcelona. So proud to be a gooner. there is no club like us.

  17. Jan says:

The whole sorry saga has been a premeditated media led campaign by Barcelona to unsettle a contracted player .

Your club Barcelona F.C. have no respect for other clubs whatsoever and seem to think they are above any form of punishment.

I sincerely hope you are punished for football’s sake, stop trampling on the rights of over clubs and their fans.

    Put your house in order.

  18. Gazz says:

    Class-less cunts

  19. 1978gooner says:

this situation is clear, cesc comes out Now, he is staying at arsenal happily and gratefully, or put him up for sale at a world record price.take all the power away from the player and price out barca, maybe someone is wiiling topay big money.no one bigger than AfC.if it makes cesc unhappy ,tough shit ,all this foreplay between our player and some club in spain is making us all feel sick

  20. BigL says:

Rather than call them cunts. How about something like my ramble below:

You should also forward on to FIFA as well to compliain. I doubt they’ll do anything but they have a duty to reply to you and explian why they wont take any action.

    >>

As an Arsenal fan I am writing to express my disappointment with Barcelona FC and the very public manor that the club has courted Cesc Fabregas this summer.

At every opportunity the management and players of Barcelona FC have publicly stated their desired to sign the player from Arsenal. Rather than use the correct channels of approaching the club, Barcelona have continued to use the media as part of their courtship of the player. Even after being refused permission to talk to the Cesc, Barcelona FC has continued to take the very public route of unsettling Fabregas via the media. As an Arsenal fan the behaviour of Barcelona FC has become intolerable and inconceivable that a major icon of football continues to act in this manor.

A final insult to every Arsenal fan was the incident where Cesc Fabregas was, at best, tricked into wearing a Barcelona FC shirt during the world cup celebrations. While I am sure players were excited and full of high spirits, this event was clearly premeditated by the Barcelona players and is yet another example of how Barcelona FC continue to disrespect Arsenal fans.

On behalf of Arsenal fans everywhere, Barcelona FC should be ashamed of the way they conduct their transfer activities. A copy of this email has been forwarded to FIFA who I hope will take appropriate action to ensure that Barcelona FC follow the rules in future.

  21. Fabregas says:

Barcelona are the shame of football. If Arsenal will sell Fabregas, I hope they sell him to Real Madrid rather than fucking Barcelona.

  22. beja says:

Rosell says he wants to reset relations with Arsenal etc. Either this is a lie or he doesn’t have control of his own players. Tell your players to shut up and stay out of the transfer business. Players play, suits transfer.

  23. Rick Jones says:

For us die-hard Arsenal fans in California, it’s all a case of ‘stick and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me’! The barcalunatics are simply winding everyone up, and mainly with the help of the digital press, their stupid games have worked. Ignore them. M. Wenger knows what he’s doing, and as terrific a player, and seemingly a person Cesc is, no one player should take on more gravitas than the team itself. I hope he stays – he’s great – but wouldn’t it be nice to know that those players we have under contract REALLY want to be Arsenal players? Yes, he’s unique, but so are all our lads. Think on’t.

  24. Jaygooner says:

Yeyyy The Mighty Arsenal start to fight back! OOOH TO BE A GOONER

  25. Oliver says:

I’m fed up of Barcelona. The most ridiculous thing I saw was the Barca putting a barca shirt on Fabregas; if thats not tapping up (in public) I don’t know what is.

It seems nearly every day a Barca player or representative is going on about how Fabregas should come to Barcelona.

I’m surprised Arsenal haven’t reported them to FIFA. I hope something is done about this.

Nothing would make me happier than to see Barcelona go bankrupt; they are arrogant and have no respect.

  26. BennyGooner says:

It was yet another pathetic & outrageous attempt to mess with cesc’s mind … BARCA YOU DO NOT NEED CESC … you already have a world class midfield … what is the point in buying a world class player to sit him on the bench at such a young age ?!?!?!

  27. barking says:

In all honesty, that tom-foolery on stage with the Spanish squad was nothing more than a few tactless and intellectually challenged “lads” having a bit of fun. Poor Cesc looked both uncomfortable and trapped – but showed good humour by playing along. After all, a number of that squad and the Barca squad are his friends. All we saw on that stage were the drunken antics of some kids and an adult who should have known better (Puyol) who embarrassed one of their number during a raucous celebration. We really shouldn’t read much into it, nor should we make too much out of it. Why? Because if we do we lend it credibility. We rise above it. We move on. The whole fiasco just made the Barca players look like ill-mannered oafs; contemptible fools.

Before condemning that club entirely (though the club has behaved abominably throughout the summer – you really wonder why FIFA haven’t said anything), we should spare a thought for Guardiola (who has remained conspicuously silent throughout) a man who has turned Barca’s football into a thing of beauty. There is nothing wrong with admiring him or the way he has had his team playing. At some point, Cesc will probably leave us and move back to Barca to carry on his career under the tutelage of his boyhood idol, but he’ll not leave us until such time as we agree to his transfer and it is in the best interests of AFC. When he does go, we should remember how lucky we’ve been to see such a talent play in our colours.

Until that time, he’s ours and he’ll be playing his heart out for us. And there’s nothing Barca and their dullard President can do about it.

  28. Kyaw says:

Please report Barcelona to FIFA. Barca has talked to Cesc without the permission of Arsenal and that is a direct breach of FIFA’s rules. We want Arsenal to take a solid action against Barcelona.

  29. W0W says:

Quit getting your panties in a bunch you fags.

  30. Sydney Gooner says:

Barca are a disgrace, this is not just about the shirt incident, this has been going on for months. FIFA don’t do anything, yet they are the law makers apparently, and as for Barca and their players could anyone be more disrespectful ?

I hope that Arsenal & Barca meet in this years champions League, and the Arsena fans can let Barca, their players and fans know how they feel about this.

Red Rag to a Bull time. FIFA will soon learn that if you let one club publically wind another up – there will be consiquences.

  31. Manmeet says:

Ok barcelona, listen up loud and clear. Cesc Fabregas is an Arsenal player and is under contract for 5 more years. Your cub is pathetic, classless and extremely childish. F*ck Catalunya and all of its citizens. I pray that Real Madrid win the league next season, and Mourinho emerges victorious against Barca once again just like the beautiful 3-1 last season. Oh and also f*ck off you bankrupt b*stards!

  32. Simon says:

Barca now starts to show no respect to the world and any neutral fans llike myself would be an anti-barca now.

  34. Chris Balfour says:

    Dear Barca

You are not having our player. Go away and find someone else to join your classless, cashless club.

    Cheers

  35. dawnFromSG says:

i think puyol-the-clown n pique-the pig n reina-the cunt could have easily held the mic and said “arsenal this is for you and what are you gonna do about it!”

frankly, fifa will not do anything even if this petition is signed by millions.

to me, the best way is to seek revenge with a win over them. i personally have declared barca as my enemy no. 1. my wish for the new season is to win the league and a win over barcunt in CL.

gooners, lets unite. barca must be defeated at all cost.

  36. Juan Carlos Fillipo says:

No need to apologize. Just admit that Barcelona are a shit team, and we will all be content, and satisfied.

  37. Sonny says:

Is it disrespectful towards Arsenal? Not if you are Barca.. they somehow think they are this holy cow of world football who can go around doing anything they please. I blame us for this.. we should have contacted FIFA and UEFA the first moment they started acting like voyeurs for Cesc. Moreover they still don’t value him to pay £50+ for him while they were more than happy to pay £55M for Ibra. Pepe Reina should be reported to the FA for his part in this stunt and Barca reported to UEFA for this extremely disrespectful pursuit of one of Arsenal players and for still not paying us the money from Henry and Hleb sales.

Message to AFC Management: Have a backbone please. Stand up to this bullying!

  38. olubengo tororo says:

there is no word that is left for me to say but shame on you all barca team and staff and supporter, you have acted worst than your self cus i cant say like animals because animals are smarter than you nor can i say like kids it will be bad for the kids imagine. you are of your own level

  39. gradew says:

most arsenal fans in English are Barcelona fans in Spain. but this incident and the way they are dealing with cesc transfer make me start to hate Barcelona. it is really shame for a club that post UNICEF on his shirt is starting to do such nasty things. From this time on wards UNICEF must request to remove his name from their shirt. And this barcelona nasty thing can no longer be model club for any one.

  40. dave says:

To Barcelona, tapping up is wrong and against the rules
To Fifa you are a bunch of limp wristed old men- it is your duty to put a stop to this nonsense- Barca are breaking your rules and you say aboslutely nothing. Barca should be banned from all Fifa comps until they appologise and pay fine to Arsenal equivalent to the damage caused to our Club

  41. bonaku says:

I dont think, FIFA or UEFA dare enough to take action. They may not take any action, given that barcalone is rich and powerful club. But still I would like to compline about this disgracefull issue.

  42. Tommy Kikkenborg says:

This could spark riots later on….

    Action needs to be taken.

  43. Adam says:

Barca aren’t to blame. Arsenal have an undecisive player. He either balls up and says…Thanks but I want Barca or he commits to Arsenal clearly and bluntly. He has done really…Neither of these allowing the media to decimate his stature in the club and Barcas stature in world football.
So blame Fabregas for this stupid stupid transfer fiasco!!!

  44. James says:

Over the course of the summer your players have taken it in turns to tap up our Captain via the media, and quite frankly i’m sick of it. Even in the aftermath of a world cup win, the first in Spain’s history, your players have made it about Barca. Having only just won the world cup, Iniesta ( the only goalscorer!) took it upon himself to once again say what we’ve heard all summer. But that stunt by your Captain and his defensive partner yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back. Forcing a shirt on someone, who clearly was embarrased by the whole thing is unacceptable, it shows a lack of class and frankly, for a club who claims to be the best in the world you acted like a sunday league team. You took a celebration for Spain and turned it into another in a long line of sneaky underhand tactics of distressing, tapping up and unnerving our Captain. Dont think we dont see what you’re doing, you’re trying to drive a wedge between Fabregas and the fans, and with some idiots it may work, but it wont rub with me. Your players and staff’s actions have been nothing short of discraceful. It shows a complete lack of respect to another club, and you have the gall to complain about the transfer saga going public, it was your players and staff that made it so. You claim to be more than a club, start acting like it, whatever respect i had for you has gone. Fabregas is our Captain, end of story.

  45. bombinho says:

    Dear Barcelona,

    Kindly “Fuck Off”.

    Regards,

    Bombinho.

  46. inarsenewetrust says:

Adem, the reason he is undecisive be because Barca players are coimg out and saying things to him aswell as the press.

They should leave him alone. The shirt incident was a disgrace to Barca FC. For that they should say sorry to Arsenal FC and our fans for doing this to our Captain.

I ask barca, How would you like it if this was done to Messi?

  47. Constantinos says:

Barcelona’s public pursuit of their former trainee has left Arsenal and the fans less than impressed – as was the pictures of Fabregas being bundled into a Barca shirt by his Spain team-mates – prank or no prank. Further to this I find it bordering on ridiculous if people think that this was purely orchestrated as a prank given the rest of the Barcelona’s input to Cese and where he should be playing next season.

The message from Wenger was loud and clear: Cesc Fabregas is not for sale, and the manner of Barca’s very public pursuit of the Arsenal skipper has left him and us fan infuriated.

The club last month emphatically rejected a bid thought to be around £30m, announcing the snub in a withering statement that made clear their displeasure at Barca’s public pursuit of Cesc.
Rosell failed in a bid to organise a meeting with Gunners boss Wenger and chief executive Ivan Gazidis ahead of the World Cup final, but is believed to have tracked him down before leaving South Africa on Monday night.

Wenger apparently kept the encounter brief, simply reiterating Fabregas is not for sale while also confirming his frustration at how the chase has been conducted in public.

That, however, did not stop Barcelona and Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta etc and players before him expressing their desire for Cesc to come and play for Barcelona.

So Fifa and co, please define to me and the rest of the football world, if the above is not patently tapping up and well beyond the word, what is!

  48. Michael McCarthy says:

Childish. Cesc was trying to play along good for now he needs to give a statement.

  49. rich-usa says:

Football fans in the US, not just Arsenal supporters, are equally appalled with Barcelona’s behavior at least in my home city of Baltimore. You are losing alot of fans here and I’m sure it’s happening in the rest of the USA as well. I realise we don’t buy match tickets but we do buy merchandise. Don’t see nearly as many Barca shirts as I once did. Seems like a poor plan for a cash strapped club, don’t you think? Unless relegation is your goal in a few years when your forced to level the books. Fools.
