Nasri calls Arsenal fans “disrespectful” pot calling kettle Samir
Dear Mr Samir Nasri
I have been an Arsenal fan since 1976 and supported the club and our players through good and bad times.
Today I saw a tweet by yourself saying the following
“I heard what the fans were singing about me on saturday and it is really disrespectful because i’m still a arsenal player”
Now let me get this right Samir! You feel disrespected because SOME fans chanted your name during the Newcastle game and basically told you to f##k off!… I can accept that you would feel disrespected if you was totally blameless in all of this.. But lets look at why SOME fans just might be slightly pissed off with you.
You have apparently been in talks with Man Utd and Man City about a mega MONEY move.
You have gone to the press and slagged off the manager and our club.
You are apparently SICK after playing for France in midweek and missed our opening game.
And despite the club bending over backwards to keep you, you are willing to turn your back on the club and fans that supported you through poor form and bad injuries.
And NOW the day we lose our captain .. You decide to hit us with this rant.
The key word in your rant for me was “STILL” You didnt say “I am an Arsenal player” .. In fact during this time you have said nothing to reassure the fans at all. Well apart from saying “dont believe everything you read in the press”…Oh and then what did you do? You went to the press and opened your heart!
Now dont get me wrong Samir, I know that most modern day footballers are money grabbing scum and there is very little loyalty in the game anymore. BUT please dont insult us and play the victim in this.
If you are still an Arsenal player then show us. If you are still committed to the club then show us. If you still love the club then show us.. And trust me the fans will show you what you give.
In life Samir my father told me something that will stick with me forever. “Treat people how you want to be treated”
If you treat us with disrespect then dont moan when you get it back!
On the flip side, If you show us you love us then you will get nothing more then love and respect back.
Its simple. Even a £120k a week footballer can understand it.
What you also have to remember is this, most of the fans who turn up and support the club, earn nothing in the region of what you do and would probably play for the club for nothing. Just the honor of wearing that shirt would be enough.
You are living the dream that so many of us wanted. You ARE loved by our fans, Your goals vs the spurs, your hands to ears celebrations, we took you to our hearts.
All we ask is for you to stop playing games with us.
You want to leave us then fine, do it for the right reasons and in the right way. Dont play the victim when you are acting the way you are!
I hope you stay at Arsenal for many years to come and show everybody who Samir Nasri really is and thats a great footballer player and NOT a player motivated by MONEY!
I can’t get my head round this anymore to be honest. I’m sure Wenger has offered an improved contract to Nasri. Maybe an improved IMPROVED contract now that Cesc has gone. Nasri could sign it, play in his prefered central midfield position, pull the strings for the gunners, win some stuff and go on to become a legend……… or he can jump ship to City, pick up a rumoured £195k a week (but in real terms a £120k a week plus a huge signing bonus with Arsenal) probably win some stuff but never really be anything other than another ManCity Merc’.
Shame really. Tough time to be a gooner that’s for sure.
Nasri has always just been there for the money he is just as much a whore as Adebayor but luckily it will all end in tears when he joins Man City. One decent 4 months and he wanted to double his salary,i suggested that he was insane and a parazite one this very own site and was slacked off and called all sorts of names(i am used to that),now the truth must be hurting some of the Nasri brigade,he is replacable as any golddiger is and ever will be.But if there ever was a wake up call for Wenger it must be now the players are only loyal till the first Man City offer comes along and Sir Wenger you can stuff your loyalty crap right up your arse it DOESNT exist anymore, only greed.
when money tlks humanity listens nd when money sings humanity dances. we hve d enuff resources 2 pay nasri nd we ol knw dat he is da only person who can play fabs position so y dnt we respect his choice. gooooner.4 lyf
Players today gets restless when they dont win a trophy once in a while and no decent player wants to wait forever or at least as long as it takes Wenger to bring together a decent trophy winning squad. All his rhetoric and spin has been dismantled and over the next few years we will be watching a whole host of our best players leave the club, unless of course he gets sacked and a strongarmed manager takes control .
Samir ive been a fanatical arsenal fan since my dad brought me to highbury when i was 5years old,im now 34years old.Can i say that arsenal fans have absolutely adored you and you quickly became a fans favourite. My dad and i would be gutted if you left us and you are our favourite player by a distance.I urge you to continue your fine progress under mr wenger and like cesc and thierry become an arsenal legend.A small number of fans might have sung something you didnt like but only because they care about you and are fearful of losing a great player and good guy that arsenal fc need. A deal might already be in place for your departure and if so i wish you well samir but i like many feel it aint your time to leave this wonderful club.Continue to fight and enjoy the arsenal experience.
A well written and ‘balanced’ piece which I totally agree with.
I (like most Gooners) would prefer Samir to stay but I’m a firm believer that we shouldn’t keep any players who want away, as their hearts and performances won’t be in it.
Being a footballer is such a privileged position, one, which sadly many appear to take for granted…which they need to understand, is an insult to most loyal fans.
I’m crying out for experience & class to replace departing experienced players but whether the board continue to “encourage” AW to bring up players from our youth system or look for the right player at the right price.
I wish the club would look for players who will own the vision and look at the club as a club for life, I’m not saying Samir is, but I’m fed of mercenary type players who look at Arsenal as a stepping stone to the Clubs in Barcelona, Madrid or Manchester.
Nasri has broken our heart, i was praying to see fab leaving the club so Nass can take the flag. but i been frastrat since the day i heard that nass is leaving also. i was always put No8 jersey on but now no longer . i never get hurt to see fab leaving the club but i will for Nass. he is everything to me as an arsenal fan , the player who made me cry was ashley cole and think its gona be the same for Nass……….. i broken my heart for Flamini also but i didnt cry
Please please Nass dont leave us better stay and play in centre Mid .
thanks i hope you will never let us down
Rashid
Many left, and they are not reaching target. Think of players like Hleb, Flamini, Ade and rest. Mind you, signing new contract cannot prevent your moving. But this is not the way you suppose to do it. Be wise!!
Well said. If Nasri is being misrepresented in the media then he should come out and say so. Equally if he really has intentions of staying then give some indication to that effect. All we have been hearing is that he’s on his way for Arab gold. Oh, please stay off twitter. It causes more harm than good.
Good article, but quite frankly if Nasri wants to play the victim let him, I really don’t have time for a half-hearted player who was as responsible for bottling it in last season’s run in as any other.
A 1/2 season stunner and he thinks he is something more than he is. If he wants to go to Citeh and be a overpaid bit player like the Togo tw*t then good ridance, if he would prefer to stay at Arsenal and fight for silverware then great. Either way where ever he plays his football this season he will need to improve on his 2nd half last year if he wants to get real respect.
Since 1886 players have come and gone, but The Arsenal always goes on.
Just a small advice ” money is not everything in this world ”
Just do what you should do” playing a wonderfull football ”
We know u love ur family…. But we are oso ur family rite?
So please love ur family like u should do… As we love like ur family….
no 0ne really n0 0ne out from arsenal play as much as they do when they are with us..so go nevr come back..your fate is sitting in the sideline..learnt your lesson from went away stars like henry, viera, adebyor, hleb, flmini, and fabrigas will also suffer too, because our wish for any went away stars was to see them going down…i do pray in future that all living us for any reasons end their carrier with regreats.
wenger grow a brain and learn from your mistakes get rid of this weasel now. this is the player wenger will make captain if he stays this is the type of player that has caused arsenal to not win anything in yrs, it would be a huge disrespect to the club to have him as captain. nasri is a great player but he is only great when things are going the teams way. once the chips are down and you are looking for players to stand up and be counted to put in the workrate or to produce that bit of magic, nasri is sadly not that player. he will be found whining and moaning and having a sulk to himself. you can judge a players character not by how he plays when things are rosy, but how he performs when things are not going his, or the teams way. one thing is certain nasri is not even a fraction the player patrick viera was and more worryingly he displays zero the fighting spirit that made viera a legend that is and never will be forgotten at arsenal. barcelona would never buy a player like nasri he might have the talent to suceed there but his attitude would not be accepted, wenger tried to play like barca unfortunately some of his players lacked one important ingredient and that is the work they put in when they dont have the ball. could you ever picture nasri putting that effort in for 90 mins of every game, not a chance. he should go to city collect his wages and become another player that had potential to be great but instead opted for the easy money without the workrate. good luck nasri and good riddance i for one will be very happy to see you go your attitiude is only negative for team moral, you are exactly the player and captain that arsenal football club do not need at this time. hopefully wenger realises that when you buy a tippy tappy player he also can come with a tippy tappy attitude, go back to the fucking basics wenger buy a no nonsense direct midfeider that puts the workrate in pair him with wilshere and lets start winning things again.
[...] about respects then he should come with a respectful statement rather than the one which he had tweeted to the fans. “I heard what the fans were singing about me on saturday and it is really [...]

sorry had enough just f*** off
Nasri wasnt sick.Wenger said he was sick.Like Wenger said Cesc was injured all through the pre season. They were not injured.Us the fans are not stupid
And why did dopey Wenger let Nasri’s contract go into the final season after he said another Flamini would never happen again
Wenger should be fired
