[Protest] Hill-Wood, Gazidis, Wenger.. OUT OUT OUT!!
Before I say anything I would like to say that Im old enough to remember the days under Terry Neil and remember the good and the bad times. I’m grateful to Arsene for everything he has done, the football and memories of the “past” will stay with me forever. He should of been remembered as one of the greatest!
There comes a time when you just have to say “enough is enough and we need fresh ideas” and my friends that time is NOW!.. We cant keep hoping that Arsene will lead us back to the glory days when its clear as mud that with every game that passes Arsene greatness is slowly turning into madness.
This is the man who took us from 49 games unbeaten and the best team I have seen, but over the last 7 years he has slowly ripped the team apart and sold great players off and replaced them with cheap kids or rejects. Arsene has shown no ambition in the transfer market and refused time and time again to sign the players we needed. Players like Scott Parker who many of the Arsenal backroom staff wanted and was a snip at £5m. Wenger turned his nose up. Again with Samba and Cahill, Wenger was told by many around him that they were the players we needed. Again Wenger didnt want to pay the asking price. Juan Mata,Smalling and a host others, Wenger faffed around trying to get them on the cheap and missed out. But instead Wenger put his faith in players like Chamakh, squillaci, Almunia, Denilsom etc etc etc. Players who were clearly not good enough for Wigan but somehow made it at Arsenal.
In the transfer market we are a JOKE!… Sell high and buy low.. £17m in profit only this summer. Wenger looks at the transfer market with disgust, and when other managers look to bring players in to improve, our manager sits back and smiles at the bank balance.
Tactically Wenger is getting it wrong also. From subs that have Van Persie and the fans shouting out “NOOOO” and “you dont know what your doing” to the failing system that was designed only for Cesc.
Whats so wrong with playing 4/4/2? Whats so wrong with playing 2 forwards down the middle? And not asking a 6ft 3 striker in Bendtner to play on the wing? And even when Arsene makes subs the system or style of play doesn’t change. its like for like and we still remain so very predictable.
ITs time for a new face, new ideas, new tactics..
But every time I say this i get verbally attacked with “F@ck off and die your not a real gooner, your a spurs fan”.. Well let me tell you something. if you are a 15 year old and only know life under Wenger you would feel that the club would end the day Wenger walked. No doubt you feel the club was founded in the 90s by a Frenchmen called Arsene and the club was even named after him. Well sorry to break the news to you but Arsenal was already a massive club before Arsene and we won titles, doubles, Fa cups, league cups and also cups in Europe. This is Arsenal FC and not Arsene FC.
I know Arsene is not totally on his own to blame. But he picks the team. the tactics, has full control to who comes in and out the club so he needs to take most of the blame. But also the backroom staff and people at the top need to go. I’m taking about Hill-Wood and Gazidis. The people who look at this club as if its a loyal farm. our players are cattle, we sign them young with the dream of selling them on at a later age for a huge profit. That has now become the Arsenal way and that is why we are now 7th in the league 12points behind the spurs and that is why we have not won anything in 7 years.
Things need to change and now. that is why 1000s of Arsenal fans will attend the game 2morrow with black bin bags and protest. Since this was leaked on twitter and was published in the press its been 50/50 to which gooner you are. Some support and some agree with more verbal abuse towards the fans who want to see change.
You cant blame the fans for protesting, How much more of this do we have to put up with? If only we stayed at Highbury and didnt sell our souls to the devil in the hunt for greed would we have had the need to sell our best players to our rivals and sign players on the cheap?
Fans like me have had enough, and if you want to go ahead and call me plastic or a spurs fan you crack on. All i know is this, I love Arsenal and i have done since my father took me over highbury in the 80s. But I cant take no more of the lies and bullshit. I cant just sit back and watch my beloved team turn into a club that has to sell its best players and is happy with finishing 4th. Things need to change at Arsenal and by protesting it might not do much but at the very lest we are showing the board and manager that we are worried and want things to improve. And if you cant see that this is a good thing then you are almost as confused and lost as the current manager.
Bring your black bin bags and show the club that things need to change.
The board are using Wenger as scapegoat as to why we aren’t signing anyone. Think about it. We get rid of Wenger and replace him with Mourinho or Deschamp (Both are neither my first choice) How much money do you believe board are going to give them to spend? Why are the board refusing to let Usmanvo on the board? Remember it was David Dein who introduce Kronke to Arsenal, PHW hated the idea hence the reason for his departure. PHW then changed his mind and liked the idea. Wenger tells them who he wants he and negotiations ate down to Gazidis and Richard Law who are to blame for the delay of Gervinho and AOC, Joel Campbell, failure to capture of Mata (Who was already set to join Arsenal) as they didn’t want to meet the clause price of 18m, Alvarez again barking at an extra 1mill failure to sign Hazard, M’Vila. Wenger has trusted these guys to get his men and they fail. Pep is the only Manager I would like to see a the helm otherwise. Real supporters need to get behind the team and the manager and forget all the negative attitude. Wenger set our standards high we are have got a costume to that (Nothing wrong with that) chelski, Blackburn and now Man City are buying they way to win things. Which isn’t the way as to why the England set up are light years behind the rest of the world. Newcastle tried to do it and what happen? They ended up with egg in the faces
Yes Wenger should of built on the success of the invincible. He though he could keep the team to together and emulate what Sir Ferige did with his squad and blood the youngsters. Difference is the foreign players wanted success now rather than gradually building a force. Hope he stays because the next group of Youngsters look great and if we can keep Van Persie, Verm, Sanga, Kos, Szc, bring Henry back as part of the coaching get rid of Pat Rice and install either Martin Keown, Tony Adams or Steve Bould as his no.2 and live wire striker, creative midfield and a decent goalkeeper to back Szc. We will get back to winning ways. Denilson, Bendtner, Shitatchi, Diaby, Fabianski, Arshavin and Almunia. Lansbury, Frimpong, Aneke, Ryo, Afobe Bartley, Yennaris, Ozyakup, Couqlin, Joel Campbell will be the future along with the current squad
i agree with u. but id rather the board go and bring back david dein. im supporting my club since 1989. and i think dein is a real arsenal man and him and arsene worked unreal together. so instead off wenger out i think board out dein in!!!
im on te fence i totaly agree wenger needs to buy quality and we have missed out on these players.7 years is to long without a trophy .maybe clean out the backroom staff and fresen it up.david dein a huge loss also.its said to see us like this also i would like to see 442 formation im struggling to keep faith in wenger just who do we bring in .
I’m a fan from nigeria..wenger is a psycho..he shud be sacked at †ђξ end of d season..how can Ʊ take off ‘†ђξ ox’ nd still keep theo on †ђξ pitch..if finishin top4 wud make wenger keep his job, then let’s go τ̅☺ europa…nonsense man..**walks out**
I totally agree with u friend. Only a spurs or Chelsea fan will still want wenger in charge since he does what favors them. Agreed, money is not tantamount to success in football. However, what we crave for is buy reasonably and timely. You won’t tell me spurs is richer than us yet, they managed to have van der vart, bale et al in their ranks. Instead of such, we keep breeding the walcots of this world who can’t even bed an empty net. Wake up you deluded fans who think wenger is the solution to the current quagmire. If truely you love this club, you’ll want wenger out or re-moulded one way or the other. I can’t even stand his guts as he feels he’s the wisest and insults fans’ intelligence by always finding an alibi at each falling. He never calls a spade a spade. Am sick and tired of him. He is just a failure who is not bothered by the way and manner fergie has left him in his trail.
Get the board out. Get Usmanov to put his money where his mouth is. Dein in. If Wenger don’t like the changes, he can sod off & get Bergkamp as the next manager.
spot on! frank write up, if I were in england i’d be carrying two extra black bin bags! go shout it in arsene’s ears, we knew a better arsenal than this current crop of mediocrers…& I support dein back as well
He doesn’t control who comes in and out though. The board have to approve every signing and actually negotiate them. He just nominates people he’d like.
And the players you named who we didn’t buy are awful. Agreed, Scott Parker is a good player, but I would choose Arteta over him, and definitely wouldn’t play him over Song. Cahill has been awful, and was nowhere near £17 million, so I praise the club for not wasting our money on that. Mata we has agreed fee’s with, but then Chelsea came in and doubled our offer. That’s not Wengers fault, thats those cunts at Chelsea for ruining the market. All the players you stated as putting faith in, Denilson was loaned off so that’s not even true, Almunia we weren’t able to sell and hasn’t played once this season, Squillaci is our 6th choice centre back, he’s obviously on his way out, but who will buy him? He was a big name when he came to us, and should have been a good buy, but now isn’t anywhere near the man he was.
And Chamakh hasn’t been trusted at all. He scored at Ewood Park in one of his 8 games this season in the league, all but one being off the bench. How does a striker floruish under that. Agreed, Wenger is stupid tactically, and Chamakh would never fit into a 4-3-3, scoring when we played a 4-4-2 at the end, but you are being ridiclous to put everything on Wenger. There is nothing he can do, and is just the scapegoat in all this. Getting rid of Wenger would be like cutting off the head of a weed, the bit that actually has some use, and letting the roots (the board) stay. Not Wenger out board out!
Ive been following Arsenal since the early seventies, long before Wenger even heard of Arsenal. I agree 100% with the article. Wenger has to go. Allready we have a poster coming on saying Wenger should keep players bring back adams keown henry etc but the thing is this will never happen. Wenger thinks fans are dirt with no rights to question him. Power at Arsenal has deluded the man. He will never do the right thing because he thinks hes god. It amazes me to hear some of the bloggers out there defend Wengers money making policies and tightness. Can someone please explain to me how they are more satisfied with that leech Kroneke having 15 million in the bank for himself as opposed to watching Mata playing for us at the emirates. Its fucking incredible how they can be happy by Wenger not spending the going rate on anything except his highly over the top wages. Why have the fans allowed this to happen. Why is it that our club does not employ an actual manager to win things anymore
Well done , your campain belongs in the dumpster truck just like the other one earlier this season.
Thanks for the entertainment tho.
You don’t even have the guts to show your faces in the photo .
Bye bye bin boys
Im sooo glad your protest went down the bin. You guys don’t know what you’re doing, simple as that. You make spuds fans very happy and I wouldn’t be surprised if at least some of you were spuds fans. Idiots!
Sorry i cant agree with you with regards to Wenger, i think he has had to deal with a ever decreasing transfer budget since the move to the new stadium, i dont think many mangers would have kept us in the position we have enjoyed since the move. I dont see how a new manager will solve our problems if the board dont give money to spend.
Support Wenger, sack the board, bring back DeIn and allow Usmanov
Fine, you’re entitled to your opinions and have had your say.
But it’s pretty clear from attending the game today that you are in a small minority and absolutely do not represent fans as a whole.
People have minds of their own and do not want rabble-rousing stunts. You mention so many things that you can’t stand about the club, so it would really be best to stay away until you feel differently rather than keep repeating these boring rants.
For once, I was so glad to see all the empty seats. The idiots who thought they would make some point by staying away, missed the most enjoyable afternoon of the season. Excellent!!
Pains me that the team has struggled to score all season, then put 7 past Blackburn today (a team they lost to 4-3 when they were ahead for most of the game). Its failure to concentrate until the final whistle. See! Concentrate you mugs and you might hold on to leads!!!
I guess you drink instant coffee and eat microwave dinners the real stuff takes time. If you starting watching in the 80′s you will remember a unbeatable Liverpool, hmm how long do you feel Chelsea run of success will last? who still in Europe? not saying wenger for ever but think abit more on what next, new manager not the answer.
I hate all the comments in here killing this guy for being unhappy!
I don’t want Wenger to leave but he brings up alot of valid points and things do to change! Our board and directors are so out of touch its untrue. I think they’ve lost the will to do the right thing for Arsenal and now prioritise maximising profits!
Its Embarassing that Spurs have kept hold of Modric and Bale where as we have to seel our best players yearly.
It depresses me so much but i think RVP will be next!
What is you alternative – Mega Money Mourinhio – We could’nt even pay his wages?
And whoever thinks an EX-CHELSKI Manager would be able to do a better job than Wenger are deluded? That’s like saying if Mouriniho went to Wigan he’ll win the league without heavy investment.
Wenger does not spend money, he does not buy players – WTF! He wanted to keep Nasri – He even came out and said that if we sold him that Arsenal would be considered as a Small Club – Then Nasri gets SOLD – Do you think that was Wenger – The wage budget, Transfer Salary do you thinkk Wenger has imposed that on the club or the other way round. I think Wenger IS doing a great Job with the limited resources that is available to him – unless you have facts on the contrary do not blame Wenger for something the Club is so clearly responsible for.
I hope we play better and I still believe that we can finish in the top Four.
I have a lot of sympathy with what you wrote above mate.
Today’s result doesn’t prove Wenger is a genius, the League table doesn’t lie.
Unfortunately I think we will have to be patient, a couple of seasons outside the Champions League will piss off the money men and precipitate his overdue departure. I’d love him to prove me wrong but I know he won’t.
Was there today and chuffed with the result. In fact the Th14 goal was like a fairytale! That said what all the AKB twats fail to realize is that Blackburn were utterly useless and AW got lucky. Do they honestly believe the Theo will now play like that from now on? He’s only picked up his game because he know’ s he’ s out when Gerv gets back!Mind you that’s what competition for places does. Shame the squad doesn’t apply more pressure to the the first team more often. Great result doesn’t mean WBA ego get about the oor squad, tactics, transfer dealings of the past 4-5 years. Akb’s really are lemming twats.
Well I am 40 so have known the good times and bad times too. I wonder who you would have replace Wenger. I wonder at his transfer policy sometimes too especially this window when you are short of full backs and only one genuine striker not buying two good players. However having watched the games recently I have not seen much wrong performance wise, just results and a few times when concentration or lack of professionalism has cost the team. I agree that we should have an alternative style of play if our plan A does not work. What we need to look at is that out of those currently in the top half of the table only spurs and ourselves would make fair play rules which is good going. We can not compete with city or chelsea financially or to be honest Utd, however we need to be able to move our wage structure on to the next level so we can keep and get better players in whilst still keeping the self sustaining model. Wenger wanted to recreate the invincible s from the youth players he has successfully groomed. yes we are waiting for a trophy and at times its frustrating when the team does not play with speed or fluency but we still play the best style of football. i would like to see Bould come in next season and take rice’s place hopefully that would improve our teams defensive game. Saying that from our away games of the 28 goals we have conceded 15 of them game from 3 games and 1 of those we won so from the other 9 games we conceded 13 goals which works out at 1.44 a game not a bad stat for a team who is slated for their defensive frailties. All this stated I don’t believe getting rid of Wenger is right though the board do need to be brought to account for their misdemeanours. They have let Wenger have control of transfer policy and not forced his hand on this and do need to be more forceful in that respect.
Quite apart from this being an incredibly stupid idea in the first place, you lost any semblance of credibility by whining that we didn’t buy showers of sh!te like Parker, Cahill, et al
Is when to pick a fight, start a revolution or take out the rubbish.
I put my hand up for being one of the instigators in leading the charge for Arsenal to sell 6 players and bring in 4 quality players, which “might” guarantee instant success. My short term vision.
But I stopped and looked at the wider picture, which is this: Arsenal is on the verge of a great transition period. The club is blessed to have a number a exciting youngsters waiting to break into the First Team and compete with the best. Players like Frimpong, Ryo, Miguel, Ozyakup, Aneke, Afobe, Yennaris, Josh Rees, Wellington, Campbell together with Gibbs, Wilshire, AOC, Walcott, Jenkinson, Ramsey and others. Excellent platform! Shame the JET could not be a part of that???
The more we spend on “Big name players” the more we strangle the growth of our home grown talent.
I still believe the club can do more to communicate to it’s fans.
Yes! We all would like to see Messi, Neymar and others playing for Arsenal. But I think Wenger has out thought a number of us, me included???
Image bringing in talent at £400K and in a few years they be £30M plus?????
Lets do some thinking – we experts need to go back to the drawing board.
The board are using Wenger as scapegoat as to why we aren’t signing anyone. Think about it. We get rid of Wenger and replace him with Mourinho or Deschamp (Both are neither my first choice) How much money do you believe board are going to give them to spend? Important lessons we all can learn: –
Bunch of morons to get rid of Arsene…
If anyone should go its the board and bring back David Dein we have been on the slide ever since he was got rid of.
I’ve seen some pretty shit times at this club like waiting 18 years for a trophy…so give it a rest.
