Spain and England are looking really good before World cup,and both sides are always considered as favorites for the title but often they don't fulfill expectations..I think Spain is the No.1 now but we shall see,England is excellent,Brazil,Italy and Netherlands too,and don't forget Germany, they don't have big names in the team but they are always playing good and like a machine

Portugal haven't got the balls to lift a major trophy. They had their chance against the minnows of Greece and blew it out of arses. That was a very good Portuguese side and they failed.

Seriously, I'd rather back England to go all the way, and we have next to no chance.

You can't look any further than Spain or Brazil, really, barring a disaster. They are so far superior, I would back them to give everybody a goal start and still get the final.

Spain Brazil HAS to be THE final, unless by some amazing run of fortune, England manage to get there!

I can see Spain pissing all over everyone. 42 wins out of their last 45 is outrageous.

Yeah but you can always see some twist of fate happening like an own goal or something and they get rattled. Puyol's own goal for Barca on the weekend, for example.

Its gonna be either Brasil, Spain or England.
Brasil cos they are ALWAY'S at it at the WC.
Spain are my favourites for the reasons mentioned by others here. They are gonna take some beating.
England cos the team is more than decent & the conditions out there will be just about perfect for the high tempo pressing style favoured by the English.
Obviously we all want to see a spectical & Ive a feeling we will get one.
