Personally i would not care if we sold cesc in the summer

I only watched the second half because my mate messing about made me late to the pub. From what I saw he did ok though. Not one of his best games, granted, but no player is on top form every game. He has been by far our best player this season though in my opinion.

How you can say you wouldn't care if he left is beyond me. We would miss him a lot, maybe even more than Wenger

No he has not, Tommy V and Song have been our best players.

When Cesc is good he is very good. But when he is poor he is very poor. Cesc is mostly good vs poor teams and he stands out. But in big games vs the big boys how many times has he turned up?

Its only a matter of time before he is sold and returns back to spain. And we have Ramsey who looks ready to take over from him. So thats why i dont care if he is sold. £40m in the bank for a player who never turns up in big games is good with me

I think Cesc has been our best player. We have been pretty poor in the big games as a whole this year, and Cesc can't take all the blame for that. There was a stat that I can't remember, where he had assisted or scored a ridiculous proportion of our goals this season.

Ramsey looks a good player but he isn't anywhere near Cesc's level yet. Fabregas is a genuinely world class and it is scary to think he probably hasn't peaked yet. Personally I want to keep our best players but I guess we can disgaree on that.

Roger Milla, most of what your saying is true except I really don't see how anybody can say that ramsey is looking ready to take over for fabregas. He is looking like he's HEADING that way, but he still looks a far cry from it.

He is also extremely young, remember, and I'm sure he will mature and perform better against tough opposition as he gets older. He's only 22! We already ask a lot of him, lets not ask too much yet.

Ramsey won't be good enough for at least 2 years and he won't be anywhere near Cesc's level for at least 5.

If he goes the only players we have with any possibility of filling in are Nasri or Rosicky. I love them both and would rather they were in the middle than the makeshift wingers they've been all season.

Ramsey's 19. I'm a little bit older than him.

Cesc has been hot and cold for a number of years now. Yes when he is good he is very good. But how many times has he not turned up in big games.

Agree with Roger

I agree, DB - this one baffles me.

Selling our best players is one of the many 'canes' the 'WengerOut' lobby wil beat him with.....that is, of course, until they wouldn't mind seeing them go!

Presumably Barcelona also have him down as being one of those players that shrinks on big occasions, or maybe they remember his games for Spain in the Euros and take note that he's having his best scoring season in an Arsenal shirt.

Oh, but Cesc didn't have a great game against Liverpool.....
