Arsenal v Manchester City

by Simplesimon » Fri Apr 23, 2010 7:49 pm

Well well well here we go........... After the game last week i'm sure most of you, like me, felt sick to the core. I think enough has been said amidst the fallout but we still have 3 games to go & need to secure 3rd place.
Saturday we welcome back 2 former Arsenal greats in Kolo & Paddy. I'm sure both will recieve a very warm welcome cos they were both real stalwarts of the Invincibles. Apparently there is some other guy coming but tbh who fecking cares. That persons is not even mentioned in my vocabulary.
As for us we are pretty much in the same situation as last week except that we have a Song again!! Hopefully he'll start ahead of fishface cos the idea of seeing Tevez haring at him & Sol gives me the willies. RvP is back in line for a startin spot & boy do we need him. Happy news on the GK front is that Fabianski will start.......... oh wait a minute!!
Anyhow here's my line up:

Fabianski
Sagna Sol Song Clichy
Diaby Denilson Rosicky
Walcott Bendtner Rvp

Hey hey hye, your all forgetting the Derek Zoolander look alike:

------------------------------Mannone
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sagna------------------Sol------------Song-------------------Clichy
------------Nasri--------------Diaby---------------Rosicky
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------van Persie--------Bendtner----------Walcott--------

I think that would be best.

By the way, Denilson is injured, too.

This is the perfect STARTING lineup! all things considered and what we really have on hand....wish Arshavin was around. Knowing AW, We will have Flopiansky in goal and RVP coming in the 83rd minute!

NO WINS IN FOUR GAMES FOR ARSENAL.

But of course Wenger tells us that finishing 3rd is more important then winning the FA cup

1 of the worst games I've seen in my life.

2 teams who didn't show any heart to win the game. Both happy with the draw.

in 90mins Arsenal had ONE shot of note that tested the keeper. Given went off injured and the 4th choice young keeper didn't even have a effort to deal with.

I feel sorry for Robin Van Persie, No support in a 4-5-1! And even when Nic came on he was asked to play on the right wing? MADNESS!!

I'm sure the wenger team talk must go something like this......

PASS PASS PASS
Lets go back, Keep the ball! PASS
NO!! Lets go to the side
Ok, we are now on our 20th Pass, Lets keep it going.
Chance to shoot!! NOOOOOOOO! PASS
Keep the ball and pass
to the side!!
other side!!
Ok,I'm bored of this passing, We might as well just cross the ball..Pass to Sagna
Cross to....Ermmmm! Nobody!

THE WENGER WAY.

I can see why there were so many empty seats today...60:500 (FCK OFF)

Ohh well. 1 pts is better then nothing..and Fabianski got a clean sheet.
In Aresne we trust!
GET WELL SOON AARON RAMSEY

Anyone else get the feeling that Viera doesn't love us and the club nearly as much as we do him?

Arsenal lost a huge part of their soul moving from Higbury It's even worse because we're struggling to create a new history for new heroes in our new stadium.

No wins in 7 games if you count Champions League and go back as far as Birmingham, isn't it?
