I think this is a good article that will explain why this media frenzy is bullshit:

I am sure he is not hurrying his departure from Arsenal,he is loyal to this club,he is not hiding he would like to join Barca some day and it's normal,he can't spend all his career here but he can stay with us more and he has yet to give a lot this club, only question is if we receive an offer for him will we refuse it or not,it's all up to club now

I like how it's. Barcelona have made an offer. Barcelona have not made an offer. Barcelona have offered £30million. Arsenal have said £50million, £60million, £80million. Arsenal do not want to sell. Arsenal have said no. Arsenal are resigned to losing him. It's all bollocks made to sound like it happened.

All that's been said is "If you left Arsenal it would only be for Barca?" "Yes". The Spanish media will press whatever agenda they like to get their players. It's exactly what happened with Ronaldo. They wanted him for 3 years before he went to Spain but every season they made out it was a done deal every summer. How many Arsenal fans have turned on the club and the player because of this? It's exactly what they're trying to do.

Whatever you think, the Wenger out mentality has got stronger just on these rumours alone. How dare he sell our best players, how dare he not be able to hold on to our best players, and if he does sell him, he only cares about profit, how dare he make a profit? He only wants to sell and finish 4th. I wouldn't be suprised if Cesc got booed if he stays. It's the same as Adebayor. Rumours come out, "I want to stay", more rumours, "I'm happy", more rumours. The fact he didn't come out and say "I want to stay" a third time was considered an outrage. Then what happened, he came out, got booed and gave us a terrible season after having a very good season.

Am I the only one who isnt that worried that Cesc is leaving

Dont get me wrong guys..

He's a quality player he really is and I love him but it isnt the end of the world if he leaves. Other lcubs has proven that. Like Juventus selling Zidane.

The thing I am worriesd about if he leaves IS

Wenger not re-investing the money. Im really scared he wont.

If he doesn't want to stay sell him. If he stays he will no doubt be a complete professional about it but we're a club with few players who have Cesc's drive and passion. If he stays, that will go. Yes, he will remain professional and give it his best, but so did Kolo Toure in his last season for us. Sell him.

His father has come out with the clearest indication that he wants to leave. I don't know why he would want to go an warm the bench in Spain, particularly for a club who does not seem willing to break the bank for him, but it's his choice.

-if he wants to go,there is no point in keeping him here,if he goes it's not the end of the world, and it's not the point,I'm trying to say what we can do to keep our best player with us in the future, how can we motivate them to stay here,I think that's our main problem!just imagine yourself in Cesc's position or in position of any other quality player and imagine how are they seeing our club and from their perspective?unfortunate, now we are just one station in player career,as soon as we create decent players out of them they are leaving the ship!we don't have that kind of atmosphere which can lead to some stronger identification of a player with our club, that's not good
-I can't resist to say this,I remember those two games against Barca,I think every Arsenal player was impressed with Barca, they all had too much respect to Barca and for me it looked like they are all dreaming about Barca, that's lack of a identification with Arsenal and that's proof that we are doing something wrong in the club

That's my worry as well. If Cesc wants to leave, then he should leave. But for Wenger to not spend big and try to tell us that Nasri and Denilson will fill Cesc's void will be enough bullshit for me to be completely fed up with Arsene and his stupid ways.
