I think people underestimate Eduardo. I know he has had a rough time this season but I still believe he is a quality attacker - the 4th best attacker for Arsenal this season if you take into account how much time he has been given on the pitch.
In the Premier league this season he has scored 3 and made 6 assists from 1108 mins on the pitch, which means that for every 123mins played he "scores or assists". On the down side his goals/assists have been against quite weak teams, and he has definitely looked shaky in front of goal. I was at the Emirates when he got his goal against Hull and it was a scruffy/lucky goal.
RVP and Bendtner should start ahead of Eduardo, but for those 20+ games a season when RVP is injured Eduardo is a good option to step in, especially in a 442 or 4132 alongside Bendtner. I wouldn't blame him if he wanted to move to a team where he is first choice striker, but I personally would rather hang onto him at least for one more season. He has suffered from the mental effects of the injury, the lack of first team opportunities and being played out of position or in a formation which doesn't suit.
And I like the sound of "Eduardo, Eduardo" ringing round the ground
