His talent apart - we need personalities at the club too!

Still the best RB in the league IMO.

IMO he is a huge asset for the club and it would hurt to loose him .. I could say that with a straight face

Great footballer, great comedian, wants to be like Eddie Murphy, whats not to love about Eboue? And all those stylish beanies he wears, too!

In all seriousness though I love him .. I didn't love him before but he is a real good character .. and someone who is always willing to settle in playing at any position . Not complain and always comes on and does his best

I agree. He is my favourite RB and one of my favourite players. He really is danger to the opposing defence, I love seeing Eboue on the ball, he seems to always find space.

And I think he honestly loves the club. That's quite rare nowadays.

Huh? Is this the same Eboue that bitched that he didn't play enough last season even though he played 44 games and said he's going to Italy because of this?

Emmanuel Eboue has been one of the better players for Arsenal this season. However, his future looks uncertain with reports hinting a move to AS Roma in the summer. Moreover, his contract runs out within an year and no provisions are being made to extend it.

It will be a massive loss if Arsenal are to lose him for nothing. Last summer, he was valued at a price of £10m as part of a deal to bring Felipe Melo to Arsenal, eventually that deal collapsed.

The lack of regular first-team football might force him to move away, but he has had his fair share of chances in the second half of the ongoing season and performed admirably well. However, that's mainly due to the injury crisis and he must be well aware of the fact that in the summer new arrivals will make his life even more difficult.

Eboue has blistering pace and is capable of producing quality final balls, but his finishing is poor to say the least. Return of the sidelined players will push him back as a substitute for Bacary Sagna at right back and he must be well aware of this fact.

He's a utility player but simply not good enough to play in the midfield and also his defensive credentials are questionable. Wenger has been using him more often on the right flank but if the players are all fit, Eboue will certainly find a regular place on the bench.

AS Roma, meanwhile, are quite interested in signing him as well as William Gallas. Previously, Athletico Madrid were also linked with Eboue.

The offer from Roma will be too good to resist, but according to me, Wenger should sell the Ivorian to Roma in the summer with Philippe Mexes moving the other way. Mexes is a stylish centre back, and he's a highly rated defender in Italy. He can bring in new vigour to the dull Arsenal defense with his own inimitable style.

Eboue+ £7m might well be enough for Mexes. What do you all think?
