Emmanuel Eboue

Emmanuel Eboue

Arsene Wenger is ready to off-load Emmanuel Eboue as part of a major shake-up of his squad this summer.

Gunners boss Wenger is also preparing to sell off his unsettled striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

And Italian clubs AC Milan and Juventus are both interested in signing former captain William Gallas.

But Eboue is the surprise name as a potential departure after the Ivory Coast utility man recovered from being jeered by Arsenal fans earlier in the season.

Atletico Madrid are interested in taking Eboue away from the Emirates.

Ac Milan also want Adebayor while Gallas, 32 in August, may be allowed to go as he only has one year left on his contract and was stripped of the captaincy last season.

Wenger is desperate to strengthen his Gunners squad with a centre forward after yet another season without any silverware.

Arsenal have made an enquiry about Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, while they also want a midfielder and a centre half.

Fulham defender Brede Hangeland is top of their wanted list while Rennes midfielder Stephane Mbia and Wolfsburg defensive midfielder Christian Genter have been watched.

I don't mind Eboue anymore. If he can keep his petulance under control he can be quite useful to us. He's also shown recently that he's pretty solid at left back as well. If he goes I won't shed a tear but I'd rather we hang unto him.

I think he should stay, but as an overlapping midfielder. He is a great runner with the ball, but he may be lacking defensively. Personally, I think he needs to change his attitude on the field - always complaining....tsk tsk. He should stay, but not start. He is a good backup.

Emmanuel Eboue has admitted his future at Arsenal is unclear and claims 'many clubs' are interested in his services.

The Ivorian wing-back has endured a tough campaign with the Gunners and in the winter transfer window he was linked with a move to Italy.

Rumours of an exit continue to linger, with Inter Milan said to be keen, and Eboue has failed to quell the uncertainty.

He told Soir Info: "My future at Arsenal is not clear yet, I did not play a lot in the season and the World Cup is coming.

"There are many clubs interested in me, so let's wait. Before the season's start I will make a decision."

Could be the end of an era
Don't you know who I think I am????
