Arsene Wenger has made no secret of his desire to add some firepower to his forward line to boost his side's bid for silverware next season.

And it seems the Arsenal manager is prepared to pay up to £10 million to secure Wigan striker Rodallega when the transfer window opens, as negotiations between the clubs are already underway.

The Colombian international has netted nine goals in 31 games for the struggling Latics and, at the age of 24, will fit nicely with Wenger's policy of signing up-and-coming forwards.

I think Eduardo or Bendtner would do as well as him playing for Wigan. I do really like him though. Type of player that Spurs will randomly buy.

Great striker, he is a very good player. I don't see this happening but I wouldn't be against it, thats for sure.

Interesting player, but blows too hot and cold for me.

I think all players at clubs in the bottom 5 in any league blow hot and cold apart from Di Natale this season.

I disagree Damir. I think he is one of those players who, gven a chance at a good club, will show his true calibre. He is surrounded by Wigan players and still manages to impress emphatically sometimes; thats saying a lot.

He is not my preferred signing but I wouldn't be upset about it at all.

I don't think I'd be too mad about ANY signing at this point...

I think it's just going in circle,we will buy him than we will have to wait couple of seasons to see what will happen with him, probably he will grow up in decent player, but meanwhile we will sell players who we bought couple of years before him and who also developed in decent players!we have decent team and decent players right now,we need to add 2-3 experienced and proven quality players to this team,we need to add power to this current team and players who will help us promptly,we need power now(for next season),not sometimes in next 3-4-5 years!after all Wenger has admitted that if I understood him correctly

He isn't a youth player, Damir. We have seen Rodallega do , even in this season alone, that if Torres did it, would be lauded about for months after.
