EXACTLY! I didn't realise it was in the job description of England captain to be a good husband. jeeez.

If you cheat on your wife with a fellow team-mate you should be more than stripped of the captaincy, you should be flogged. It transcends personal life and is a simply horrible reflection of the moral calibre of you as a man; how the hell could his players respect him if e does that to them behind their backs?

F##king oath Curt.

what terrys done effects a team, not just himself and his family.

he fucked the mother of bridges son, thats not F##king on. the C##t deserved what he got, and now its time for everyone to move on

1) Terry will stil be a leader for England, the only difference is that he now does not have the tag "Captain" attribted to him.
2) Ferdinand is captain now simply because he was promoted from vice captain. It was the obvious thing to do.
3) His form was bad for England earlier in the season only because of that niggling back injury he had, when fit he is a class act.
4) He was banned over 6 years ago now and deserves to be given a chance, having matured since then.

A Player who goes about sleeping with his team mates (not to mention ex club mates) is not really a captain in any universe in any time

What gets me is all the sudden hero worship of Terry by the Chelsea fans.

Carry on supporting him through the bad times and stop short of condemning him if you wish, but the sort of reaction he's getting from his own fans could be saved for someone that's just won the CL single handedly, scoring a hattrick in the last 5 mins to win 3-2. After all, it's not as if the papers have printed lies, is it?

The special cheers and smiles on all their faces - women included - made me sick, and is a sad sign of the times IMO. What double standards on show.

He hasn't killed anybody, I know, but wrong is wrong and he's caused alot of pain t people that didn't deserve it.

If he had an ounce of class he'd have descretly acknowledged his worshippers and got his arse off the pitch asap, and got on with his life. The way he sucked up at the end with all the chest beating as if to display to everybody what HEART he has!

What a disgrace - but then you look at his mother and father and it all makes sense. The son af a two-bit drug dealer and a serial shop lifter = Terry.

Genetics.
