I always get myself involved in stories about possible new strikers in our team,I like to go through every story with you guys and to hear your opinions on that,we must talk and do something on this forum don't we,but after every post I am constantly saying 'it wont happen' and we should know that so far,so don't take it too serious

Why would you want a striker that's shown they aren't good enough to play in Spain or Italy which are both weaker leagues than the premiership? He should be in his prime right now but he's somehow still managing to be in people's heads from his reputation in the dutch league and some decent international performances. Maybe Wenger could fix him but really it's not worth the bother. Might aswell sign Alfonso Alves at least he has some premiership experience.

It's a non starter anyway^^.

FWIW, I think he had the profile that would have went well with Arsenal.
