Wenger eyes Brazil starlet
ARSENE WENGER is weighing up a bid for Brazilian prodigy Nene.
The 25-year-old striker has caught the eye of the Arsenal boss after netting 14 times in 17 games for Portuguese side Nacional.
Gunners scouts were in Portugal last week to check on the forward in his team’s 3-0 win over Vitoria Guimaraes.
Nacional paid just £400,000 to Cruzeiro for him last summer but he is only contracted to the club until June 2010.
And Arsenal could make a move for Nene when the transfer window re-opens, with the player thought to be keen on a move to the Premier League
