I'd have taken Vieira on loan - it'd have seemed the perfect option for loads of reasons. I wonder what sort of Wages he'd of demanded though? It looks to me like the money offered by City will make his mind up, which makes you wonder, doesn't it? He can go fck himself if that's the case.

He can't possibly be the same player nowadays....I thought his knees were going when we sold him, so they must be well mangled by now. One of our best ever players, but he is 33 now and won't be used to the pace of the premier league after being away so long.

Can't blame him for making some big cash in his twilight years - good luck to him.

He is off to Citeh ... He might not be the same player that played for us but this is IMO a sad story, an Arsenal legend playing elsewere dindt matter but playing for another EPL team is sad ... very sad ...

Vieira wouldn't be perfect playing for Man City because the style he plays but he would be fine their cuz he has the exp (how ironic) but he will get p*ssed of after a while though.

I think we could use him if we sign him but I don't want to see players who already played for us,it's matter of principals!in world we have like a billion footballers do we need to sign same players twice?they left us and don't need to bring them back again and specially not when they are close to retiring

I wasn't too sure we should sign him but I didn't want to see him at another premier league club either. Especially not one that is trying to compete with us.

we got the best out of Paddy V so I'm not hurt by this or anything, especially considering we passed on the chance to sign him apparently. Besides, he's using Man City the same way Beckham is using AC Milan and the same way Donovan is using Everton - to get to the World Cup.
