Deadwood

* Manuel Almunia Couldnt stop a beachball
* Bacary Sagna C grader
* Philippe Senderos boy! does he look attractive now!
* Eduardo Will never be the same again
* Denilson A pretender
* Mikael Silvestre A spent force
* Johan Djourou A useless dummy
* Lukasz Fabianski A useless dummy
* Armand Traore Never impressive
* Nicklas Bendtner Maybe tolerate him for one more season

i say we recall Wilshere, and have Mannone keep goal. He impressed me with his performance in the preliminary CL games. I never understood why Wenger treated him the way he did. Disgusting! If AW prevails, (i have a sneaky feeling, the board wanted him to get through this season, and unleash the signings next campaign) we need 3 topnotch defenders, 2 Midfielders, 2 namebrand strikers, of which Chamakh is one, and obviously we need to unload Almunia and get 2 goalies, one to replace Almunia, the other to be the third goalie. Mannone has proven himself well. No more pussyfooting with Merida and Vela and Szczesny. HUGE talents, just lacking 1st team football. Case in point, Wilshere. Send Vela and Merida and Szczesny on loans WITHIN the premiership.

* Abou Diaby Filler
* Cesc Fabregas pride of Ashburton Grove
* Thomas Vermaelen pride of Ashburton Grove
* Tomas Rosicky Useful
* Samir Nasri Underachiever, could be the greatest
* William Gallas One more campaign
* Robin van Persie Fantastic when healthy
* Theo Walcott Now coming of age
* Aaron Ramsey Will be back
* Alex Song pride of Ashburton Grove
* Jack Wilshere Potential of a young Rooney
* Gael Clichy One more campaign
* Andrey Arshavin needs a great striker to compliment
* Vito Mannone Proven commodity
* Emmanuel Eboue Great if used solely in defence
* Kieran Gibbs Coming of age
* Sol Campbell Now there's a stalwart

Johan can't have played badly because he hasn't played at all. I don't understand how people can be against him.

Out with the rest of them.

Minus the "Clichy one more campaign" and Djourou stuff, I agree with that list.

I don't understand the Djourou and Denilson hate. They are backup, and they know they are backup. They will quite happily sit on the bench for the next few years getting paid a fraction of what the first team starters are on. Of course they are but it's very hard to sign good players to be fourth choice. You either have to have someone very young (e.g. Eastmond) or someone very (e.g. Silvestre) or someone old (e.g. Sol).

Denilson has Fabregas, Nasri, Rosicky, Diaby, Ramsey, Song and soon Wilshire in front of him now for the CM position and Song ahead of him for the DM position. He will never play over Song unless Song is completely knackered.

He only get's pushed up the order because of injuries and Rosicky and Nasri have to play on the wings due to our lack of any wingers or strikers. If we get Chamakh the front 3 spots should be taken by RvP, Chamakh and Arshavin, pushing Nasri or Rosicky into the CM position. Considering Ramsey is out for the long term and one of the others will definately get injured next season I don't see the point in selling him. We need a better backup/rotation defensive midfielder and we can get one, but I don't see the point in selling Denilson too. The only way it will make sense is if Nordtveit turns out to be better cover than him for DM.
