Off Topic: Nice picture! Kralj Dzeko nice to see a compatriot here

On Topic: I agree on everything except for the thing about not using injuries as an excuse!

yes we are The Arsenal, and we should have enough cover for the players in the first team if we want to compete at the very highest level. But look at it this way: At one point in the season we had 9 first team players out (!)

We had bendtner out for 3 months, van persie for ever, gallas, song, cesc etc.

Can you imagine United without Rooney, Vidic and practically their whole midfield for a half season?
It's the same with Chelsea, the would suffer without Drogba and Lampard.
So based on the injury front we have had a successful season!
Cheer up! Arsene is stating that Chamakh is on his way, plus more players. Looks like he has finally seen that this team needs more quality players! Hopefully Hugo Lloris is on his way!

We could never buy Lloris. OL don't need to sell him, as they are very rich, and we would have to deliver something huge to make them sell him when he is under contract.

And he's just not worth it when other players can come for cheaper and do a fine job.

Who would you prefer? How about Mandanda from Marseille

Akinfeev wouldn't be that expensive would he Or maybe he's just overrated...

Yeah I think Akinfeev would possibly be the msot expensive in the world at the moment. probably second after Buffon's massive wage demands he wants from City (4 million per year after tax.)

A lot, for Akinfeev, I guess would depend on the remaining time on his contract. If he's signed for a while then they will want a lot. I don't thnk he is overated, he is a born short-stopper.

off topic:hehe vozdra brate!
I think there is a big difference between first team players and those who are coming from the bench as their back ups,I am not saying we should have players like Ronaldo on our bench, but we should do something to bring closer quality of the bench players to the quality of the first team players!did you see what happens when you have to play Campbell and Silvestre as substitutions,or Rosicky,Denilson...in decisive moments we don't have solutions to seek on our bench, and in EPL the season is very long, you need to have stronger bench,we missed that and that was decisive for our failure in title race

Vozdra i bite :P

Yeah I know, I saw the horrible central defence we had against Wigan.. I think that the club's main priority should be to straighten the defensive back line. A quality goalkeeper ASAP! Hasagic? Clichy/Gibbs and Sagna/Eboue are good enough, Gallas will probably leave in the summer and we need someone big to play alongside the verminator. Metzelder? Naldo from Werder Bremen? Hell I would even rather have Spahic than silvestre!
