He may not have much longer to give, but he hasn't spent too much time on the treatment table and if he keeps playing this well theres no need to retire too soon

Surely you jest!! James didnt get a well deserved name of "calamity" for nothing.......and plleeeaaase..... the Uprights and the crossbar performed better than James in the FA cup final!! LOL!!

He got that bullshit nickname during his early days at Liverpool, when he was extremely young.

As of recent times James has been nothing but consistantly good.

I would have no problems seeing him wearing our no.1

Disco James is a far better nickname; like Disco Stu off the Simpsons. The similarities are at times uncanny.

I guess you like PAIN!! I respect your choice like i respect Youtube's choice of hosting goalie Howlers. Watch the errors Calamity James (Very well deserved and preserved moniker) perform quite fluently. You have an appetite to watch Arsenal games go down again the tube due to some moronic Retards like James, Almunia, Flopianski?? Many Gooners here would be shivering at the thought.

we are always talking about money, can't we just talk about what sort of a player we need, what's the best for the team!Buffon is expensive but it's best you can have and long term solution

Because we have a transfer budget and you can't spend what isn't there. OK so what do we need, a goalkeeper, a centre half, a midfielder. We could spend 100million on Buffon, Chiellini and De Rossi + £18m a season on wages, or we could get Mandanda, Kjaer, Melo for 45million + £8million a season on wages (not necessarily the ones I want but a few that we're linked with). If we sign the best goalkeeper in the world we have no money for a defender and a midfielder. If Wenger bought Buffon and didn't strengthen anywhere else in the team every time we lose a game Wenger will get crucified by the fans again.

Also no club apart from Real Madrid is going to spend £100million in a season. Infact few clubs would spend £40million in a season. Realistically the goalkeeper we buy will be a cheap one (probably 5-9million), the midfielder will only be backup/competition for Song so not to expensive (5-11million) and the defender is the only one that we would definately need some real quality in so I'd estimate 8-15million worth of defender, so somewhere between 18-35million laid out on transfer fees alone. I doubt he'll even buy a midfielder he'll probably stop after a goalkeeper and centre half.

Man United spent stupid money on players and now they're feeling the strain. They couldn't spend all of the Ronaldo money because it went into debts and this is the time they regret buying players like Anderson and Berbatov (he hasn't been bad but he hasn't done any more or less than a £10million striker would have so thats £20million + the £50k a week extra wages written off).
