He has to since Galindo doesn't have a work pass.

This will most likely turn into another Vela situation where he stays overseas for a while until he can get his work visa.

So this kid is going to be loaned out for 2 years before he get to see him? And then he is going to be like Fran and used in the carling cup. Really what is the point

The point being, that he could eventually turn out to be a superstar? Great players have to start somewhere. Did you think Cesc would turn out so good when Wenger nicked him?

The player is CLEARLY not being purchased to have immediate effect on the first team, so where exactly is the problem?

When I quoted Wenger, I was just laughing at his enthusiasm, which seemed quite funny. He hs jsut signed the guy and can't wait to get him out on loan

But obviously we all know why, just the way he said it was amusing.

This could only happen to Arsenal

Reports emanating from the Bolivian press claim that new Arsenal signing Samuel Galindo is the subject of an investigation over his age. The midfield starlet who was snapped up by the Gunners last week from Real America was thought to be 17-years-old, but new evidence, including the emergence of the player’s old passport, point to him being nearly 21-years-old.

HAHAHA^^^^

That cracked me up so much. Perhpas the ship has sailed afterall : D

We would surely have grounds to cancel the deal, if its even gone through, if this is true. And if it matters? Maybe Wenger knows/doesn't care.

But if he, a 20 year old, has been playing alongside 15, 16 and 17 year olds all this time, how can we tell how good he is? Wenger signed him on the assumption that he is developed for a 17 year old. Do we really want him when he's 23 and has played with ty clubs in spain for three years? 23 is hardly ancient so again, would depend on how good he is.

He certainly does not look 17. It's not his height, it's just the way his face is set.

If he really is an age cheat, I don't want him at Arsenal. I had fun taking the piss out of Geordies for Oba Martins and don't want it happening to us.

Some players are amazingly developed for their age. I'm thinking particularly of playrs like Mario balotelli and Mahamadou Sakho. But they have superior development due to genetics, unlike this guy who is just a liar.
