Even if our defense is a thin Djourou who is cb didn't make that sort of impact to the defense that we can say for him he was good,we can't say even he was average,and personally I can't remember him showing to us anything during the season in time when we desperatly needed good defender...and if we bring in some quality defenders I can't see what is the point for keeping that player in the squad,the best thing would be to trade him for someone like Bassong,Sakho,Hangeland...those players who didn't prove themselves in 4-5 years it is obvious they will never prove,let them go somewhere else to try their luck but my personal opinion is that Arsenal isn't club for them!Djourou isn't first on my list,but Denilson and Diaby yes!At least one of them must go,two anti-talented players in midfield are just too much!Someone said here they are still young,no they aren't,they were young when they come to Arsenal and that was 3-4 or 5 years ago and don't forget all of them had more than enough time to play!

I won't say Denilson isn't good because I think he is but he's being misused by Wenger in the wrong position. It's unfair to him because he isn't being given a chance to shine. I do think however that if he wants his career to reach new heights it would be best for him to leave the club. With Rosicky coming back next season and Nasri and Arshavin in the midfield as well he's gonna move down the pecking order and if Wenger plays the right midfield (although he has a habit not to) Denilson's gonna be caught out of the draft.

Diaby is a steaming pile of though and I hope there's a plane ticket back to France with his name on it this summer.

We can definitely say he was above average considering he played well when he had to and made few mistakes for a 22 year old. While Sakho might be better, he's not now. Bassong is an overrated defender that gets a pass because people overcompensate for how horrible Newcastle is. Hangeland was a component of a generally solid defense, not a star.

I know what you mean. That's what's Denilson's problem. While he doesn't really make mistakes he doesn't do anything over the top to directly impact games.

Why the hell would we sell Eduardo... I think anybody with half of a semi-working brain cell can see that Arsenal are crying out for a targetman/striker with CLASS.

Van Persie is a supporting striker, and lets be fair, Adebayor is hardly the brightest bulb in the bunch. We should keep Eduardo and at least give him a fair chance to prove that he may well be the player that left us against Birmingham.

To be honest, in his short return to the Arsenal team he was nothing short of brilliant, and scored plenty of goals considering the amount of time he played. Let's not forget that heel/volley goal.

Ok,I carefully read all comments I am not for selling Eduardo I just wonder if he is ever going to be the same after injury I HONESTLY HOPE SO,same about Rosicky!I would really love to see your opinions in short what do you think we need to change in the squad,do we need to change anything,and who we need to sell if we have to?Please skip Ade hehe cause we all agree on that but anyone know it isn't all his fault and he isn't only that should leave!my opinion is that those 3-Denilson,Diaby and Djourou should leave but we can't all agree on that and I respect that but want to hear proposal from others?I personaly want for us to add players not to sell,but some of that guys aren't Arsenal class and they prove that a lot of times

I agree with that and that's why I'm calling for another striker with bags of technical ability. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I think that player we desperately need is Mohamed Zidan. Two targetmen, Eduardoesque players, up top just won't work. We need someone that can turn defenses inside and out...someone that can threaten the goal from anywhere in the opposition's half. We've desperately miss a striker that can score a goal like Henry scored against Liverpool on Good Friday 2004.

I agree. And at the end of the day how good can he be to play in a team that has gone down?
