Really disapointed tonight, we were overrun, and seemed to lack leadership and spirit. I was really hoping we'd grind out a 1-0 but Shaktar is a hard place to travel too, especially when we have a few knocks and a weekened squad playing.

We are now equal on points to Shaktar, when realistically we should be through. We always seem to make it hard for ourselves.

Getting through was never the issue, the problem is we could finish second and then have to face one of the winners which look likely to be Barca, Real, Inter, Munich and Lyon whereas usually we'd have an easier game against a Portuguese/Russian/etc side. I'd be confident against Lyon but all the others I wouldn't be.

Right now it's entirely possible that Braga away could be a draw/loss and Shaktar could do them at home. Braga are a good side at home and they will be bang up for it because for them our upcoming game is a must win. We've made it so hard for ourselves and we're going to have to win all our games now.

Wenger played a few kids and it backfired. Our defence was appalling. The first goal was a straight set piece header and the second was an unforgivable total f*ck up by Clichy, who should now be replaced with somebody who actually knows how to play at left back. I wasn't impressed by Eastmond but Wilshere was good.

I thought we did ok in attack but Shakhtar defended their lead pretty well and deserved to win IMO. That Eduardo knows where the goal is - maybe we should sign him?!

I still expect to go through and be knocked out as soon as we meet a "proper" team like Chelsea or Barca, but you never know. Got to be in it to win it

i'm very angry with Clichy.. what the hell he dallied the ball at the very dangerous area... hope he'll learn from that mistake, and for Gibbs..please do not injured anymore.
