Sorry but Newcastle were shit. They did absolutely nothing and had no chances. They played okay but did nothing at all special. We should not be losing to a team that does nothing special.
I said last week that West Brom was not a fluke and once again we'd do the same thing but I didn't think it would happen so soon. Fabianski shows once again that he is stupid. No other word for it but that. If I was in goal for Arsenal, Andy Carroll would not have scored that goal. It wasn't even a half chance, it was not a chance at all, but if your keeper is going to come out for no reason and leave an OPEN GOAL any player is going to go for it. I don't blame Kos because you can see him letting up because he did what any centre half would do and TRUST HIS KEEPER, not his fault his keeper was stupid.
What Wenger was doing, I've no idea. Wilshire outplayed Cesc for the whole game and what he did do was make about 4 great tackles (one of which went down as a foul but looked like a perfect tackle to me) and Song was the same.
I don't see why Nasri and Wilshire had to go off while Cesc and Walcott got 90 minutes when neither of them did anything while Nasri and Wilshire were IMO our best players. And on this seasons form are the two players most likely to make something happen. Cesc did a rubbish free kick straight at the keeper but saved face because he hit the bar so everyone could go "ooooooooooh".
As far as I'm concerned this is another 3 points wasted by a goalkeeper. If they don't go a goal up we can play against them and score, but giving any team the lead at the Emirates means they are going to try and defend for the rest of the game and chances are we won't score.
The only positives are that Robin while not looking totally fit still looked class, and what we're going to need this season is more class, and also that Chelsea lost but on our current form we don't look like title contenders. All that result has done is given Liverpool the hope of fighting for a top 4 place which might be worse for us in the long run
