I am from New Zealand and I have been a ' Gunner's Girl' since last October. I am 25 going on 26 years old and I'm passionate about the beautiful game called Football where you come from but here in New Zealand it is referred to as Soccer.
I first fell in love with Arsenal after watching them play the 1st leg against Celtic @ the beginning of the current season, I have not looked back since and I have learnt alot about the club, about AW and his young talent 1st squad.
Arsenal FC is an example of how a football club should be run, from the owners', the board and of course all coaching staff and the administrative staff as well and the players' and all the fans' and supporters @ the local and international level.
Given the current economic climate, Arsenal through careful planning and using a sustainable financial model have made a half-yearly profit and have further reduced their debt. Of course AW is an economic genius as well as a top-flight manager.
I have played Hockey and womens Rugby Union-but I'm too old now, my passion is football with its formations, tactics and set pieces, it requires intelligence and on the pitch skills. I am still learning about the game especially that "Off-side" rule.
I work in the banking industry and I am at University doing a conjoint degree in science and economics-which will take me 4 years to complete.
The 1st team though relatively young are a credit to their club. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish Aaron Ramsey all the best with his rehabilitation, it will be a long road but we are all with him.
Cheers.
