    I completly agree. I never thought that our fans would hate one of our own players more than some of our rival players. Adebayor even came out to say that he never said a thing about leaving. Anytime a club comes in asking about a player the media pickup on it and look for quotes that are not in the same context. Its time some of you examine the facts before you post these silly remarks on the net. have some responsibilty for your club as one post can start a chain reaction of bullshit and rumours.

    This doesn’t prove that we need to sell to buy. We have the money as the accounts prove, for those who can read statements. What it does prove is that for the first time ever, Wenger really grew to dislike him. He has NEVER been so keen to get rid of a senior player before that he sells to an EPL club. Chamakh is not the best, but he has great movement, a left foot, a good work ethic, is a better passer and far less of an ego.

    Nice to see a bit of thought to Hartson on here…..he certainly did his bit for the Arsenal and hope he beats his latest battle that his got on his hands. As for the Ade’s work permit, apparently the home office brought in a new rule last year where you have to understand the offside rule to work here!

    Selling Ade is almost as good as was the signing of Arshavin. What a good thing.., what a good thing! Eboue, in comparison to him, was like Zidane to us. What a twat. He reminds me of Rivaldo, good skills but shitty character and attitude, that’s why he switched so many clubs and was mostly on bench. I hope he too ends up in the Uzbek League.

    Silvestre isn’t good enough; eboue is a liability and nowhere near good enough for a regular starting berth as are Diaby and Song.

    If he’s crap, he’s crap. Doesn’t matter if he’s white, black, blue, purple or orange. The fact is his goals to chances ratio stinks, when one-on-one with a praying mantis larvae in goal, he manages to hit the mantis or row-Z much more often than putting the ball in the net. He traps the ball further than I can kick it and for an ‘international’ striker, has the worst spatial appreciation of what constitutes ‘offside’ of anyone since Stevie Wonder last slept in a sensory deprivation tank.

    Eboue (whilst slightly better technically) has an similar work ethic (i.e. none) and has the worst attitude and personality of anyone I’ve seen in an Arsenal shirt. Constantly diving, cheating the ref, falling over, only looking for AdeBarnDoor as an outlet for his pass. He’s not a right back, he’s not a right winger, he’s not a central midfielder – so he’s an average player keeping better players (who actually know how to play those positions) out of the team because he’s another of Wenger’s beloved. Same went for Hleb & Cygan if the positive discrimination crew are counting.

    Sorry – I am one of many who would be very very very happy to see that back of that pair, if we can bring Micah Richards in as part of the Ade deal – great, or (very unlikely) Stephen Ireland.

    City are taking a very unsubtle approach to unsettle players and squads amongst the big4. Buying Adebeyor (lol), John Terry, Tevez from Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd would appear to ‘weaken’ their rivals and strengthen their own credentials. It’s a statement of intent (none of you can be sure your squad is impervious to having their heads turned by City). And ofc – they are all players that are proven in the EPL.

    Funnily though – losing Ade will help us. Whereas losing Terry would definitely hurt Chelsea, and losing Tevez (after losing Ronaldo) will also hurt ManUtd.

    I wonder if Wenger and Gazidis can extort some more arabian money for the privilege of having Diaby, Eboue & Silvestre on their books too.

    Adebayor is lazy and overrated, and I would love it, love it, I tell ya, if he goes. Enough about him, though. I have never understood why some Arsenal supporters don’t like Eboue. He’s had a few bad games, so what, who doesn’t? I don’t see any particular reason to single him out for blame. The same goes for Diaby, whom I happen to think will do very well this season. The only thing he needs is consistency, but otherwise he’s got both great technique and raw strength in abundance. I don’t think we need a DM as much as we need a rock solid central defender who has a proven track record in the EPL. Hangeland fits the bill. Lescott or Richards are also good prospects. We need a defence that can stand up against aerial bombardments from the likes of Stoke City. Offensively, we are more than ok, we look positively brilliant in that department. Just shore up the defence, and we’ll challenge for sure.

He will be no loss to us and to think City could have bought a real centre forward, who would have been much more dangerous.

    Sad to say, but Ade was a toxic non-teamplayer for Arsenal. Arsenal’s style thrives on team effort and his arrogant treatment of other players plus laziness while being one of the highest paid players almost cost us RvP this summer. Anyday, if I had to choose, it would always be Robin over Ade – and AW has done just that. Ade’s 30 goals in 08 came only as a result of Top Gun RVP being crocked and upon return, Ade rubbed his now-superior ranking (as evidenced by his being paid more then RVP) in Robin’s face. Real good riddance, I say. This is all about keeping the team together as AW promised. Arsernal will win nothing with holier-than-thou strikers (remember Henry’s last season?). Only teamplayers need apply!

    The real issue has been his performances on the pitch. Yeh I know he’s got a great strike rate, but so did Andy Cole years back. Any striker that needs six chances to score will never be good enough for the Arsenal.

    Adebayor was a hero at the club, until he openly courted the attention of Milan last summer. One moment professing loyalty to the club that made him, the next sentence(literally) completely contradicting that statement.

    Chamahk is not your conventional CF, he plays a more withdrawn role. That would explain his goal scoring record.

    Lets look at this logically, the fact that Wenger has hardly been infused about keeping adebayor, that he is prepared to sell him to what is being touted as a rival, that tells you everything you really need to know about adebayor. Good player when he is motivated, but his mind has been shot to pieces by greed and vanity.

    No way should be bring back Flamini. He totally fucked us over and we’d still have Diarra in our midfield if it wasn’t for him.     Peolple still slagged of that team at times even TH14 and DB10 who we will never replace. The fans that call our players lazy are the same one’s that can’t be bothered to even sing and get behind the team. Face facts The Arsenal can’t attract top players anymore because we can’t compete with the money of others so we have no choice but to develop our own stars as frustrating as it may be. Our problem is keeping the kids we turn into good players and stop being a shop window for others. Every season we only try to replace what we’ve lost. we should have strenghened by getting 1 quality player every season instead of letting the team grow old and starting from scratch.
