   He scored 13 in 44 chances, a MUCH better shot to goal ratio than any other Arsenal striker.

   We should just go out and sign Hunterlar IMO. He is a proven goal scorer and links up well with RVP.

I’m from Dublin an its full off united and Liverpool fans an it gets annoying when your down the local pub an watching the match, I just want a proving goal scorer, anyway why sign chamakh, bentner is just as good so why not give him his chance an then use the ade money on a class DM??

    I couldn’t trust this guy to do a good job for me. Looks too much like a Bendtner type of finisher. I don’t like his shots to goal scored ratio. I am not impressed, and I wont bend over like some of the Arsenal fans above. If we sell Adebayor we have enough money to get a good striker (huntelaar for example) and a good defensive mid (which we hav already missed out on; Melo… Thanks Arsene, u prat).

    Sorry to say but think with a litlle advice from the Boss on his foot finishing this Chamakh-guy can do as well or better as Ade’s 30+ run.

    From what the video shows me, he got pace and technique and confidence in the air. I believe if we can build his body stronger like we did with RVP the one-one’s will be much more explosive and focused.

    I think this is what AW sees in him.

    Come to think of it. What if CHamakh isn’t the replacement of Ade but of Bendtner? And the real target is Huntelaar just to keep all signals under the radar.

    How can anyone say that they don’t like his shot to goal ratio when he scored 13 goals in 44 shots, that is a 29% conversion rate. If you compare that to van Persie’s 12.6%, Adebayor’s 18.2%, Bendtner’s 16.1% and Walcott’s 5.4% you notice how good it is.

    Eduardo is selfish and van Persie would score a lot more goals if Wenger drilled a selfish streak into his game. Chamakh and Bendtner would be good foils for either of those two.

    He has speed and looks uncomprising; probably faster than any of our players (save Walcott), currently. This chap will fit into the team, easily and YES! He will score plenty of goals, IMO. He is like an Eduardo in the 6 yard box, too. I hope we do get him.

    You shouldn’t just rely on vids like this, but if anything it’s made me like him more. Skillful, not afraid to go all in and he challenges for everything. I think he’d be a sensation if he came, if Ade goes then we might as well go for it. Lots of people saying Huntelaar, but look at the Dutch team, serial underachievers. Also, Kuyt was a goal scoring demon before he arrived… I’ll say no more. Bergkamp is unfortunately gone and we already have RVP so I’m not interested in anymore Dutchmen.

    i agree with enricho. we lost the champions league because of henry’s misses. if the coach sees something in the player then let be it. otherwise slate the coach(or is it the board) who is making the decisions. why criticise a player who only gets bought. arsenal has no right to the big players; maybe the players u want dont actually want to play for arsenal. if huntelaar is so good then why is city with all their money going for ade instead of him. u are daydreaming.

    Enough with Huntelaar, you guys act like he can just snatch him from Real. You don’t know what he wage demands is and you don’t know anything about this player either.     for the last time! we dont need any more strikers!!! we have eduardo, van persie, walcott, arshavin, vela and bentdner. thats 5 good strikers and 1 shit striker(bentdner) who may get better. we should use the 25 mill to buy yaya toure because he isnt getting a game enymore because of busquets nd he always sed that he would like to play wiv his brother. we could probably get him 4 about 15 mil cos he is underrated.

    His shot to goal ratio is not even that important

    Last year he scored 14 goals in 44 appearances, and only 1 in 8 in Europe. He is 25 and in a winning Ligue 1 side so this is by no means a great return.

    He is an average striker at best

    Marouane Chamakh IMO offers more than just being a goal scorer – he’s more mobile than Huntelaar and his link up play is quite impressive (he reminds me of Critiano Ronaldo). Huntelaar is quite static and seems more like an Alan Shearer/Ruud Van Nisteroy type player which is not a bad thing! Chamakh looks more like a Wenger type player and offers speed and athletism. Give the guy a chance if we sign him

    i agree with lot of what been said about him not scoring enough goals but no disrespect to Bordeaux there midfield its not arsenals is it. im not saying this because im moroccan believe me you will not be disapointed his total contribution his the sort of player that you can play up front on his own in away games hold the ball & wait for support , ask those lot cross the river in two games they played in champion league last season, above all he never give up & runs for 90 minute i hope he comes over
