L’Equipe reporting Monaco striker Park Chu Young is on his way to Arsenal to sign for a fee around €3m-€5m
Park was about to sign for Eden Hazard’s club Lille and was seen as a possible replacement, but according to the Lille’s Chairman Michel Seydoux he is now on his way to Arsenal.
“We are stunned by this unacceptable behavior in terms of human qualities. This shows that the player had nothing to do in Lille. We agreed everything, he left his hotel room in the middle of the night and is now on his way to Arsenal. Seydoux said.
Park had his part one of his medical with Lille yesterday, part2 was due today. Apparently Wenger called the player directly and he is now heading to London as we speak.
If this is the case then we can forget about signing Eden Hazard!
The eden hazard situation has been done to death. He was never going to leave lille this summer nor could the club let him leave. The club won the french league and have champions league football this season. He is more likely to review his position at the end of this season. This guy looks a real talent and i welcome his arrival.A players quality is not always linked to their transfer fee,you can get super players on the cheap sometimes and players who have been bought for big money have sometimes been big flops.We do need a few more signings without a doubt because our squad is light in terms of numbers and quality.our current squad consists of real talent and very poor players who are not premiership class let alone Arsenal class.The club must learn from their errors this summer as we have acted so novicey in the way we have done things.You have to get your house in order early and have a settled,gelled squad ready to challenge.Arsene the genius should know how to go about his business by now and its simply laughable for other clubs looking in.Aint funny to us gooners who are sick to death of following a business instead of a football club.

This Article completely misses the point, in that in suggests that Park is not a quality signing. Park is an exciting player, real quality who can play up front or an an attacking midfielder. People forget that our striking options at the moment include Bendtner and you cant argue that this chap isn’t a significant upgrade on Bendtner. So don’t be short sighter or overly concerned about his not being a “big name”. I guarantee you that you will be pleased to see him coming on/starting in place of Bendtner and in that sense the signing is definitely bolstering the squad.
I welcome chu young park to arsenal. Just because Liverpool/mcity buy players an ridicules amount of money doesn’t mean that they buy better players the us. Samir nasri was unknown and cheap yesterday please give the player a chance. I am sure him and gervinho will play as good as anyone this season.

OK – looks brilliant on YouTube but so does everyone! However, I have seen this player in Ligue 1 – he is perfect for Arsenal. Why?
1) He works his guts off
2) He knows how to score, has great touch, intelligence, movement and positioning
3) Good team player – always plays for the team
4) He takes a mean free kick i.e doesnt balloon every shot over the bar (looking at you RvP!!!)
5) isnt motivated by money – looking at you Na$ri!
6) There isnt a big team in S. Korea that share his DNA – just the military and hopefully he can get out of that commitment.
7) AW likes him – and he knows his attacking players.
