   The mentality shown by some fans is embarrasing, Arsene Wenger isn’t bigger than Arsenal football club, we won trophies before he came and will do so after he has left. He either needs to rip this squad up, get rid of the deadwood and fetch new faces in and alter the style of play or f*ck off.

   Harsh on Djourou he’s had a brilliant season, everytime he plays badly we lose (Bolton, Ipswich,Birmingham) which shows how important he is! If we do sign a CB I dont think he should drop out. Vermaelen and Djourou will have to be first choice CB’s next season. We need a better 4th choice CB cos Arsenal and injuries go better then tea and scones. However Djourou has lost one league game with us this season even though we’ve lost 6 times this year (in the league). I think as a team mentally we’ve struggled in the last couple of games, and that has let us down in the defensive department. Te media talk crap, we dont need a CB and GK, we need Wenger to be better tactically and install a winning mentality into the players!

   Wenger has now changed his philosophy and due to how tactically poor he is, we’re losing out on trophies but u can NEVER say that Wenger never built a team cos he did OUR GREATEST TEAM EVER!

   I remember a few years ago,Spurs fans borrowed the tune from the old arsenal chant “one-nil to the Arsenal”, but their version went “WE’RE SH*T – AND WE’RE SICK OF IT!”

   I feel your pain, but calling for AW to resign is idiotic. Who do we replace him with. I’m hoping Kroenke forces the issue regarding the type of players we should have been buying the last 18 months or so. we need quality and experience. At least 3 such players but preferrably 5. Right through the spine of the team. CB, midfield and a top class striker. We should have sufficient funds to buy the required players.

   we have only been outclassed once all season: by barca away.
   we do not need to rip the squad up and sack the manager.
   we are close.

   there are a few deadweights/losers who we need to get rid of…almunia, squillaci, denilson…and a few who should be put on notice…diaby, clichy, eboue, rosicky, arshavin, bendtner, vela…but if we get a few decent performers in to the first team, we will be strong enough to challenge.

   i really only think we need 2-3 new signings.

   put your pants back on.

   buy one top quality defensive central midfielder, and one top quality striker, and promote our best loanees to the first team (mannone, lansbury, coquelin, bartley, botelho,) to challenge/replace the deadweight second string, and basically our problems are solved.

   can you imagine if we had players in the mould of van bommel and eto’o in their prime in our team?

   what if we could put schweinsteiger into our team as it is? suddenly all of these airy fairy players would have a big powerhouse to play off of, and it would all click.

   i don’t know what hotshot strikers there are out there right now, maybe lukaku, but i’m sure we could get vertonghen or schweinsteiger if we tried.

    unfortunately gunner17 you haven’t taken into account the big players/high earners that seam not able to perform under pressure in big games and in late feb-may fixtures (basically when trophies are handed out – the chokers) Chamakh, koscielny, song (from the carling cup onwards) and NASRI in particular, when the pressure came this guy couldn’t be found other than against spurs, yet wants to be the highest earner at the club bar none,

    that means only rvp, fabregas, sagna walcott, wilshere djorou and the keeper szeszney should be assured of their places next season (forgetting how many players here are injury prone) meaning a minimum of 4 players of a certain maturity are neaded, plus a defensive coach to drill them against our achiles heal of set pieces against

    CAN YOU REALISTICALLY SEE THIS MANAGER DOING ALL THESE THINGS?…… no i din’t think so

    Time to step down, only then will i accept this 6.5% rise in tickets graciously, SORRY!

    Although I am as dissapointed as anybody about our failure to win something this year,it would be absoluteley crazy to pull this team apart. With an average age of 23 this team is capable of becoming much better in the years to come, perhaps with a couple of carefully chosen players in the summer to strengthen our squad. I would like to see a big aggressive midfield player and a centre forward who makes his main priority getting in the box every time we attack! I don’t know who they are but every other comment I read about what Wenger should do is to get these players ie; Goalkeeper Centre Back and a Centre forward who are they refering to? nobody ever seems to say names and it seems to me these people are just frustrated fans (and spiteful Media) who do not know the first thing about manageing a Pemiership footbal team, so unless you can put a few names in your posts stop writing the same rubbish year after year about what wenger should do. Does anyone think that we really need a new keeper instead of our young Pole? do me a favour! he is so mature for a young man and I have full confidence in his ability, yes hs will make mistakes but show a keeper who doesn’t

    arsenal are one of the powerhouses of football. the fans have a right to question whats going on, if i didnt know any better id think alex ferguson has been slipping magic mushrooms into wengers herbal tea, what else could explain some of his recent comments, and why he persists with players he knows never came close to cutting it at a top club and never will. you would need to be mental to keep players like almunia fabianski denilson etc. and to buy players like silvestre and squillachi as cover for our already brittle defence. wenger has proved he is one of the best, but he has surely lost the plot the last few seasons, the style of football is also painfull to watch at times. how many times can a team pass and lose the ball without getting a shot away. but sure with some of the fans we have 2nd to a shite team like man utd is great a reason to celebrate, lets all go out and get mad drunk and sing some arsenal songs about our great achievements. no fucking sports person on earth goes out to finish 2nd they want to win and 2nd is considered losing. barca embarrased arsenal 2 yrs running and they are as overrated as fuck. would vieira and petit allowed iniesta and xavi to mince and waltz around the pitch like ballerina’s would they fuck they would have crunched the 2 poofs within minutes of kickoff. heres to next yr lets all watch our defence bar sagna do anything but defend and lets watch our strikers bar RVP never take on a fucking shot. whoop dee fucking doo i cant wait to watch this same tired scrap all over again next season and the season after and the season after. we will all be worn out celebrating our great achievements finishing in the top 4.

    Agree we were poor but how the hell could you give Fabregas a 7?? Is this some sort of desperate attempt to try and get him to stay??
    Let’s face it he doesn’t want to be here any more and his body language shows this.     Gunner17 you are outclassed by any team that beats you full stop! We were beaten by Bolton therefore they have outplayed us!! All the pretty passing counts for nothing if you don’t win the game. Our last 7 games have seen 5 drawns against teams we should beat easy, especially when 2 goals up, 1 win against a shite Blackpool team and a defeat to Bolton. 8 points out of 21 is relegation form, not that of wouldbe league winners!

    Unfortunately we are far from close with this team. Our captain was a disgrace on Sunday. No guts’ no leadership and no clue what he was doing. When you have to consider outing your captain and most creative player your team is in serious trouble and that sums Arsenal up!

    This really is a joke. We would be the laughing stock in the world of football if we were to sack our manager now. WHY WHY WHY is it that I only see fellow gooners demanding the sack for AW when every other fan dont? Its because they are not blinded by frustration. All you care about is trophies, YES they are number 1 priority but they will come. If only we have one the Carling Cup, it would have shut you lot up and given our team a huge boost therefore opening the flood gates for more trophies. It will happen it really will.     Before Wenger, Arsenal finished in the top four in 23 out of 92 seasons. Under him, it is 14 out of 14.

    Before Wenger we were a club that had 38000 paid fans through the turnstyles now we have 60000.

    Before Wenger we were known for gritty dour performances now we are the entertainers.

    Before Wenger the richest club owner was a few million richer than the average – now Arsenal are competing with Oil and Gas Billionnaire Playboys who are richer than gods rich uncle. Manutd have indebted themselves to the tuine of nearly a billion to compete. Wenger turns a profit and still competes.

    Before Wenger – half you detractors would probably have been spurs or man u fans.

    There is some dead-weight! Wenger will toss them out. He will look to buy. If he doesn’t add to the squad with real quality then he will be a failure.

    Otherwise we have been really close and only a few players have let us down and some of it is down to experience. Referring to Koscielny and Scezch of course.

    It is quite obvious that the board are behind a lot of this. They want the loan completely repaid as quick as possible. But perhaps now with Kroenke on board, the whole process might be accelerated.

    This mad shouting like chickens with no heads that Wenger must fuck off is stupid. Fans saying we need to buy player X,Y and Z when the only time they have heard of these players are from things like rumours or club targets and players being linked from newspapers, is actually pretty pathetic.
