[Ratings] Who needs Cesc when we have Ramsey

Arsenal 1-0 Man Utd
Ramsey (56)

The story of Ramsey will be told for millions of years.  Career threatening injury through thuggishness, only to overcome it and become the greatest player in history of Earth.

Cesc out, Wenger went for Ramsey ahead of Denilson and Rosicky and it worked as the young welshmen scored the winner in the 56th min.

Arsenal Ratings

Szczesny 8.0 ( Outstanding, did everything asked of him and made some fine saves from Nani and Rooney)

Sagna 7.0 ( Very good defensively and made a great block in the first half. But poor with his final ball going forward)

Koscielny 9.0 (Fantastic and MOTM for me, Won everything and steped forward like Bobby Moore)

Djourou 6.5 (Played well but came off injured yet again)

Clichy 8.5 ( Pushed hard for MOTM, How are Arsenal even thinking about letting him go?.. Played Nani very well and pushed him back. A great game )

Nasri 6.0 ( Taken off injured at half time, starting to remind me of Hleb. Always wants to pass rather then shot now for some reason? )

Ramsey 8.0 (Started in place of Cesc and scored the winner. Always wanted the ball and gave it simple. Won his share of tackles. He and JW are our future in CM)

A Song 7.5 (Played Rooney very well and was solid, but gave away 2 many dangerous freekicks on the edge of the area)

Wilshere 7.0 (Missed a great early chance and his passing was off, but worked very hard for the team)

Van Persie 7.5 (Lead the line well and linked the play, needed support in the 2nd half but always dangerous and set up the goal)

Walcott 7.0 (Started the game well and gave Evra a hard time)

Subs
Arshavin 8.0 (Won so many 50/50 tackles it was like a dream, worked very hard for the team)

Squillaci & Eboue (N/A)

Yeah, not really on board with you there. One outstanding game does not a great player make. I agree that Ramsey has the makings of a great player, but he’s far from there yet. Let’s see where his stats are at 23/24 yrs old and then decide who’s better. As for me, Arsenal still needs Cesc’s creativity and accuracy. When he’s had a healthy season he’s pretty much the be all and end all of Arsenal’s midfield. Just look at last season. Now, if they can play side by side, so much the better for them and for Arsenal.

    Hypocrites.

Just think how well the team could of done if you and the AST chose your comments at the end of the season, instead of after every game that didn’t go our way.
No team has played well this season and its frustrating, but thats football.

Can we not have both- playing at their best—- please? Ramsey will get better year on year for the next 10 years but Cesc is world class now. Why throw him away?

  4. yash says:

dude we need cesc..ramsey will be a very good cover..he is not ready yet..its good to have good covers unlike diaby and denilson!!We need a good defensive cover though…!!!

  5. madiora says:

yes we need fab but if he wants to go, he should be allowed to. i disagree with the way clichy has been rated

  6. eve says:

whats wrong with this statement is it shouldnt even have been written, why are you people writing about our captain as if hes used up and not wanted anymore, aaron comes back after a broken leg and scores against manure and now we should get rid of cesc? what planet you on? cesc is a far better player than aaron(at the moment), he has much more experiance, hes our captain and our leader, no one can replace our cesc, maybe in a couple of years jack and aaron “might” be as good as cesc, but not yet, and hes not going anywhere.

I do’nt know how u manage 2 com up with that shit and stil get praise 4 it.firstly clichy was nowhere near the man of the match yesday ,in fact he was the worst player in red and white.song 4 me he was the best player on the field.sayin ramesy is better than cesc judjing by one good outing is silly

  8. Gavin says:

Having Aaron back fit it brilliant news but selling Cesc would be like taking 1 step forward and 4 back. Cesc is one of the best midfielders in world football and believe me losing him would be a major blow to our future hopes. Most likely this summer Jack will be off at the U21s so we will need Cesc, Jack and Aaron all available next season to make a real go at winning something.

  9. yj says:

Giving Clichy a high rating for allowing torrents of dangerous crosses into our area? Its like he was scared of closing down the wingers as he gave them a lot of space. Then u now crowned it all with your calamitous view of Ramsey being better than Cesc.Come on,get real.

  10. cameo says:

Ok you just destroyed your credibility by claiming ramsey is ready to replace cesc, not even in 5 years
