Is Wenger getting the tactics wrong? Bendtner is not a winger

   Makes no sense..Wenger wants to grow bentdner so he could dribble like ibrahimovic..If he plays on the wing some times, he would develop great dribbling skills, and then he would add that to his repertoire..Bentdner is going to be world player of the year in 2014

   When he gets rosicky,nasri and walcott back you’ll see B52 play up front, its injurys that are forcing his hand, and he expects RVP to score more than nick based on his track record, its only a temporary setup.

   I think Bendtner is sacrificed to accomodate RVP because of his lack of defensive nous. RVP will not run up and down the pitch the way Bendtner does and therefore Wenger needs to play Bendtner there in order to keep our defensive shape when not in possession.

   I´d like to see Bendtner as the focal point of our attack at some point, but this season, unless of injury, he´ll probably need to continue to play on the right.

   It is an ego problem on the part of Wenger. He does not want to come out like he’s imitating the national team managers of his players. This is why whether its Arshavin, RVP, Nicky, Rosicky etc he has to make sure he finds them alternative and ill fitting positions.

   I think i remember him saying he likes RVP in the middle because he is good at holidng up the ball and bringing others into play.

   VP is good at holding up the ball but how good was he against Vidic and Brown? the guy is a more tricky player than Bendy and Bend is more stronger that is why VP would do better in a wide right forward role and Bend would grow as a CF

    as arshavin said today, he is very happy with right wing position and appriciated wenger for knowing inside out of players… so i am not worried about ur thoughts mate this time

    Simple really. Nic got a lot of goals last season playing from the right where he can come in at the back post on the blind side of defenders.
    It also gives us the option to get it forward to Nic where he can win headers against the full backs which are generally under 6 ft. This is a tactic that has been used against us in the past with the big striker (Keven Davies for example) being put up against C*le/Clichy to win the headers and allow others to feed off of that.

    Van Persie is more skillful which is why he is deployed in the middle so he can create goals for others like the Ramsey goal. VP needs to play centrally to get the most out of hus sublime talents.

    The 4-3-3 system also allows everyone to interchange so it’s not like Nic is playing as an out and out winger anyway.

    Pointless post really simply becuase of recent qoutes from Nic preferring to play in the middle. System has worked well so far so no need to change.

    It’s obvious. Wenger has a pecking order. Bendtner has worked his way into the team and Wenger thinks he deserves to play, so he shoves him in any position just to accomodate him. It’s completely ridiculous, because Wenger is not putting out his best team every week and not doing what’s best for Arsenal simply because he is playing a player out of position because he feels a loyalty to him.

    Eduardo is the best arsenal foward, i cant understand that he is not starting the games.
