Personally I feel Arsene some tactical mistakes yet again in playing Ramsey wide left from the start. WHY!!!… When you have the likes of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gervinho fit and on the bench? it brings back memories of when Arsene played Bendtner, Baptista and Diaby on the wings.
Today our passing game was all over the place. Song, Ramsey, Rosicky gave the ball away countless times and Van Persie had no support or service.
Defensivly we looked back to the Arsenal of odd. Zamora had his usal good game and was bulling the CBs.
NOW its going to be a fight for 3rd and 4th place, with touch games vs City and Chelsea to come we cant drop points vs teams like this at this stage of the season.

Szczesny 6.0 ( Nothing he could do with both goals. Was let down around him by poor defensive cover )
Sagna 6.0 ( Didnt have the best of games and gave us nothing going forward )
Vermaelen 4.0 ( At fault for BOTH goals and lost his cool a few times. His worst game in an Arsenal shirt )
Koscielny 5.0 ( Bullied by Zamora again. Poor show )
Gibbs 5.5 ( Didnt cover himself in glory for the 2nd goal )

I believe Arsene is fixated on Ramsey. How can you use and leave him on the field for about 70 minutes while real efficient wingers – Ox and Gervinho – were left on the field. He has one talent and that is to shoot off target. On target shot is an exemption. Also, as good as Alex Song is he is one of the reasons Arsenal lost today. How on earth would such a talented player who has been playing for top European club since be afraid to shoot for goals and he often finds himself in the position, perhaps more than anyother person on the side! It is a terrible deficiency. Watch Chealsea and Man City matches today and see what shot, even in a crowded area, can bring to a club side.
. I dont need f*cking statistics to convince me that ramsey is awful, thankyou very much……we all love arteta, don’t we?? But he’s probably the worst in creating chances going forward…yes he passes well but his lack of creativity especially when needed is ALARMING!!
Someone back me up…and how can you say that about rosicky??, he was in midfield alone coz arteta sat too deep!!..
i think one of our biggest let downs is Alex song.. he is great in attack but very poor in defence… if he was in position for both goals we wouldn’t have conceded..and its not just today you look at most games we have lost or droped points. he doesnt win 1 on 1 situatins he is more attack minded and we need a shield some 1 who acts as a third defender…and probably move song up and make him a centl midfielder or att… as for van persie i think we have stopped playing to his strengths a bit more… we are now playing high crosses instead of the low ones that he easily scored… theo’s confidence means he now wants to get in the box more than cross the balll….
Wenger picks his team not because of form, he does it considering the overall growth of the players. That is why he insists on Ramsey playing. Earlier he played for Rosicky, but now since the Czech midfielder is back in form and has been vital for our revival he can’t drop him. Either Arsene has to stop playing Ramsey who is 21 or 22 and needs game time more than anything for his development or Ramsey has got to step it up a notch. I was always told to judge a player after one full season so in my opinion it has to be now or never for Ramsey because not a lotta games left
I was at the game and find your review rather naive.Rangers deserve credit for a terrific shift over 90 minutes and in Zamora and Taraabt had players with strength and quality which caused us problems all game. Zamora is a very under-rated player and might ave done us a turn as understudy to RVP,rather than the pathetic Chamakh.
Arteta did not look tired he covered every blade of grass and Song put in a good shift but Rosicky was off key and Ramsey was very ineffectual out wide.Sadly AOC represented our only threat from the bench.Gervinho is extremely disappointing. With Ryo coming back next season and Podolski he is surely surplus to requirements.I have yet to see him play well and he is very lightweight with a weak football brain.
One observation I would make today was that Szczesny needs to come for some of the crosses fired in.Koscielny and Vermaelen glared at him a couple of times today when he was indecisive.I’m quite pessimistic about our chances if we can’t play better than today.I agree that AOC should start and I wonder if Santos might give us more presence at left back. Next weeks game is crucial as I think Spurs will win tomorrow.
Can you please relax? Yes we lost and yes it was a very bad performance and yes Wenger made mistakes in team selection, but it is one defeat. Please keep your cool. It can’t be all good after a win, and all bad after a defeat.

I find it disappointing that after any defeat everyone finds a scape goat among the players. 7 games to go and we are still third there is every reason to back the team & nt ‘slaughter’ them after one defeat in 8 games.
